"The room was excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful, the shop was a little expensive but nothing you wouldn't expect from a hotel and the selection of goodies was just right. Breakfast was delicious and the location perfect! Just wish we could have stayed longer! Will definitely be going back! The only thing to mention is to be warned of ridiculous parking costs! Nothing to do with the hotel as car park was managed separately, but we parked for just under 24 hours and it was £53!...

"The room was clean and comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was welcoming and kind. The breakfast was quite simple, but I was happy to have something available nonetheless. The location is excellent, a quick walk from main attractions!"

"The bathroom door creaked loudly for every movement both opening and closing. There is only one waste basket in the bathroom."

"The room was clean and the staff were excellent. There is a large sitting room off the reception area that is a great place to meet people or just rest with your party during the visit, which is fantastic. The only challenge was the fire alarm in the room had a VERY bright light that ultimately had to cover with a towel to get off to sleep. Also, the windows aren't great at drowning out the road noise, which is a common issue in hotels on these busy roads, so be sure to bring ear plugs with you....

"The hotel was situated in town centre. Walkable to the river, local attractions and restaurants. We had a lovely stay and they have a small spa located next door which we used one morning. We did not eat breakfast there so unable to comment on food, the rooftop bar was lovely for drinks. Our door was difficult to open but staff were helpful and efficient."

"Chosen originally for its location to Cambridge City centre with free parking and looked good in the pictures. We arrived early so decided to take lunch there. Very inexperienced staff member behind bar led to disjointed, incorrect and undercooked orders. Not a good start and due to this we never ate there again during the stay. The manageress offered free drinks to redress the food issues and who throughout the stay was pleasant and helpful. We later established that she was not the owner and...
