The room was spotless and we got special attention. There were robes and slippers.Great location as well. The room had an amazing bed. The buffet breakfast superpassed my expectations. The hotel even had a place to do your own laundry. The staff was also wonderful and very helpful. It was 5 star experience

Beware the pictures showing a pullout couch. Not all rooms, despite being labeled suites, have one (and the alternative is like a double chair, thinly padded, too narrow to sleep on and uncomfortable even as a place to just sit). The front desk staff after some confused promises over several days eventually provided us with a room that did have a true pull-out one. If you need one, contact the hotel directly. Other than that, very nice hotel. The breakfast buffet features some Belgian specialties along the usual array of hot and cold items. The restaurant is excellent (best blanquette de veau ever!) And if you rent a car, select a really small one. Parking spots are tight for the hotel and everywhere else in Belgium.

The hotel location is great, the room was comfortable, but the service has room to improve, especially for a 4* hotel: -The hotel did not have any shampoo (they were out of stock for the week), -They were out of washcloths for the entire week -Breakfast was hit or miss depending on the day. Some days, the eggs were severely undercooked. I do not mind runny eggs, but half the time, they looked more like an egg soup -The spa service (manicure / pedicure) was horrible: it was so painful that we almost had to ask them to stop -We had to ask 3 people at the front desk to finally get a parking pass. The first 2 people told us that we had to pay every time that we got in and out. The 3rd finally told us that we could prepay for the week and get in and out as many times as we wanted. The beds were super comfortable though

Quality hotel ideally located at the centre of town. Good choice for breakfast. Comfortable room. Parking in the area is very expensive; better to use free Parking Malin but the nearest is quite a walk away.

This was a very pleasant surprise. We booked last minute and didnt know we weren't in Brussels. But what a treat it was. The staff was nice but it was the hotel itself and tge area we loved. A beautiful location if you just want to getaway for a few days

Impossible to Find

This hotel is impossible to find. it has no signs even on the outside of the building. parking nearby is impossible due to the road system. Even google maps doesn't show it in the correct place. it took me over 1 hour to find it. you have to walk with your bags from a public car park as there is no vehicle access to the hotel. I had to call Hotels.com for the hotel contact number but this wasn't even correct. Located in a student area so it is a bit noisy through the night.

We absolutely lovthus location! A few quirks, they don't care for Americans so dont expect all smiles and love from the locals. Its not all the locals but a good amount. Otherwise you would love the locale. The hotel is nice and all the amenities are great, they're was a few issues but overall we enjoyed our time in Belgium. The room has a couple flaws, toilet is in a closet on the other side of the shower room wall, you have to walk around with dirty hands to get to sink. The pillows are small squares and only 3 on a king size bed. No top sheet just a duvet blanket, no extra blankets or pillows in room. Lots of storage and closet space. We found it strange that your key card must stay in the holder at door area to maintain electricity in room. The shower also needs shelves there was no where to put your products.
