"I chose this hotel as leaving for early flight and was close to airport. Looks a little tired on the outside and was'nt expecting much but the lady at reception was absolutely lovely and helpful with complimentary coffee and very surprised to find a lovely clean room with comfortable bed . Kitchen and bathroom in great condition. Air con, Tv , wifi, would recommend to others"

"Room was refurbished on the inside but the fit and finish was sub par - to the point where security was a concern for me. Most concerning was the flimsy thin ply patched over the main entrance door. The door between the lounge and bedroom wouldn’t shut due to bad fit / installation. Big gaps between the external sliding door and wall create drafts for wind and extra outside noise"

"Starland looks and probably is a remodeled Condo/AirBnb type development, so it has all the usual pluses and minuses that come with it. In other words, expect more of a rental unit type situation than either a hotel or motel. That being said, the remodeling was nicely done, the facilities are clean and secure, the beds are comfortable and best of all it is within a stone's throw of the Sylvia Park Mall. The price is affordable too, so if you want a no-frills and budget-friendly apartment unit...

" Some of the gym equipment was not working, and the shower curtain was dirty. We also had to go down to reception to ask for dishwashing liquid because there was none in the cabinet. The reception staff member who served us was okay, but the lady behind the counter was very rude. Her attitude was unnecessary and it ruined my happy and peaceful mood at that moment. She kept arguing with me about the drink voucher. She said I only had one voucher, which meant one drink. However, I explained to her...
