In the heart of Dotonbori, literally have the Dotonbori river as it's backyard, from free breakfast and drinks. This place is a must for first timers and small groups. Free Pancakes, Sweet Matcha, Pepsi, Ginger Ale, Coffee, Tea!! The small but comfy and convenient kitchen/lobby with USB charging points was our favourite hang out after a long day of walking around Osaka.

The hotel is located right on the edge of the very busy, interesting, and happening Dotonbori area but just far enough to be quiet. Staff were always friendly, helpful, and kept the facility clean.

Great hotel in a fab location

Excellent location, very clean, new, comfy beds. Next to the river and close to the action, but quiet soundproofed rooms, and a little cafe space they looked out over the river.

Very nice hotel in a premium part of Osaka. Excellent Japanese/American breakfast, free coffee/tea and a free pancake machine (very neat), and good toiletries. Literally steps from the best parts of the city, and lovely staff. We made a mistake and didn't utilize the back exit enough which opens to a beatiful canal that you can walk on with shops and also brings you to the highlights of the city.

The breakfast was fantastic and completely worth it in my opinion. It has a beautiful view outside and the door access to the outside was very cool as well. This hotel is great, I highly recommend it and I really enjoyed my stay here.

Very good affordable hotel close in Dontonburi! The staff were very friendly and helpful especially prior to check in when I contacted them. The hotel rooms are small and compact so if you have large bags worth noting.

Joytel is good

The rooms was small but adequate. All spaces in the hotel were clean. Note that they do not clean the room unless your stay is longer than 4 nights. The cafe area was very nice and a welcoming space to spend time with family in the afternoon and evening. Location is ideal with lots of restaurant options in walking distance. I would stay again.

Perfect location for exploring Osaka, just a few mins from vibey Dotonbori and Namba station which connects to everywhere. The rooms are very small, even by Japan standards, but clean, functional and safe. Even though it’s a busy area, it wasn’t noisy and the blackout blinds in the room were excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
