Front desk staff was PHENOMENAL. The front desk anyways. The food court checkout was a little below expectations and was giving run of the mill fast food employee. The lifeguards were a bit rude. One in particular was very nit-picky and was even pushy towards management to make a larger deal out of petty things when she didnā€™t get her way. Kind of a damper on the mood. Disappointed we had no microwave in our room. The doors to the rooms are SO heavy. We booked two rooms and they didnā€™t conjoin them so we constantly were holding this insanely heavy door to go in and out and have conversations with the rest of our group. Kind of obnoxious. BUT - other than that, Disney is Disney and the magic still felt alive at this resort. You buy it knowing youā€™re getting budget, I suppose. I was just still surprised at the quality of the rooms or lack-thereof. Iā€™ve stayed in nicer motels. Just very very outdated and basic. Overall I probably wouldnā€™t want to stay here again but if you really want those on site perks and donā€™t mind the inconvenience of not having a microwave or donā€™t need ANY extras in your room as far as looks or quality, youā€™ll be fine. Just donā€™t expect any excitement from the room itself. The lobby and the statues are what this place has going for it. Also thereā€™s no hot tub on the properties which kind of sucks when youā€™re sore and want to relax your muscles from park days.

Rooms are thoughtfully designed, everything easily accessible, plenty of outlets. Especially appreciated having a table with two chairs, with plenty of room for two people to either work or eat. Coffee service and mini fridge in custom designed cabinet was very nice. Didnā€™t use the pool (we were there during a serious cold spell) but it looked nice). Free transportation to the parks and Disney Springs so you have the option to just leave your car in the parking lot for your whole stay (or donā€™t need a rental if you come by air). There is a food court instead of a restaurant, but the quality is actually quite good, with a variety of options.

Tiffany who helped check us into the movie hotel was really professional and hospitable. She answered all of my questions with patience and enthusiasm. She also gave me and my family some valuable information regarding some helpful travel suggestions and tips while visiting the Disney worlds grounds. AC would reset at night after you manually set it making room stuffy. Had to get up multiple times during the night to reset to cool. Pool is big, but not too kid friendly, better to go to a water park. There is no fridge in room so if you need to store anything like milk, it will go bad. Fridge temp averages 45 to 47 degrees. Our room bathroom door did not lock so it made it a challenge to chase kids out of it. Laundry room is convenient and inexpensively. Food idea if you have kids is Golden Corral. You will save money and kids have a different choice each visit. Rental vehicle will save you time, but if you want to save money then take the shuttles to parks. There is a McDonalds near the resort that you can visit for breakfast each morning. It's inexpensive, convenient, kid friendly and clean. Get the app if you plan on going each day.
