"Tolle Location, nettes Personal, Update auf partiellen Meerblick. Aber: Vom Zustand und den Annehmlichkeiten würde man anderswo weniger als die Hälfte zahlen. Das Bett ist durchgelegen, die Einrichtung und Technik aus den 90ern, das Zimmer sehr zugig. So schön die Location auch ist: Wo da 4 * herkommen sollen, ist mir ein Rätsel."

"My first complaint is with the quality of beds , they are the cheapest kind, the hotel tried to address my complaint by putting a mattress topper on but it just made it worse. Secondly the towels that were given to us were stained with dried blood , not good by any standard ! The breakfast is great if you’re wanting a cold fruit and a bit of cake, but for £24 I’d expect something hot other than eggs . "We had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Luxe for 2 nights … lovely hotel located just outside San Sebastián (SS) on the cliff tops. Food from the Bistro was excellent (the main restaurant closes on a Sunday and Monday) …. Perfect for trips into SS using the local bus (number 16 -2 Euros fare) and a taxi or bus back as parking is very difficult in SS.
Hotel ideal as a base for exploring the delights of SS and the Basque region… highly recommended"
