"The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken. Car park which we managed to get a space, parks 10 cars. Neighbourhood very good and it’s a walk down the hill to the bus stop which you can use to get into town for 1.70€. Reception can sell you the tickets. We did taxis back which cost us between 15-20€. After a day walking so much it was a relief to come back to the pool (not heated) to paddle in. Our room was 119 and 118 would have the same beautiful view. No drawers or storage space for clothes so couldn’t unpack. It’s more B&B as there’s no actual menu for food in the evenings and it’s a walk down that hill again to get to any local shops or restaurants. But they do a ‘snack’ menu. Sandwiches and two pizzas on it. And they have a bar you can get drinks from. Cheap prices. We chose this location as we were driving so needed to be outside the ZTL zone and not pay for expensive garage parking. So it suited us. If you are flying in. Stay closer to town is my advice. Would I stay here again. No. But huge praise for the reception ladies.Their English was brilliant. They helped us with everything we needed locally. "
