"It was great, loved how close it was to old town, loved the apartment feel, one thing about my room on the west wing was that our windows faced other hotel or apartment windows so when it got dark we did have to keep them closed so no one looks in if we had the lights on, but it did not bother us at all, just putting that out there incase that would bother someone!"

"A hotel that actually has a personality. Most hotels feel interchangeable. DogHouse Edinburgh doesn't. The room was more like a small apartment than a standard hotel room, and the in-room beer tap and the fridge in the shower sound gimmicky until you're using them after a long day of walking the Royal Mile - the craft beers are delicious, too! The record player with a stack of Scottish vinyl was a lovely touch; we ended up playing records all night.

"The decor was nice and styled well. It was like a maze going to our room. The only window was a skylight in the ceiling that didn't open. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect!"

"I and my wife stayed over Christmas 2018 for 3 nights. All is fine. Just too small bed. Housekeeping service always forgot to put such things as Water, Shower Gel, Shampoo into the room. Breakfast is a kind of Continental one which are just bread and cold cuts. Staffs are all nice and friendly. Hotel and Room Condition is good. Location is perfect. "
