I'm giving it an average review solely for the area around the property; this part of the city is still under development. Even though there's construction going on, I couldn't hear it & my room was facing the construction site. Bass Pro is a 10 minute walk away, but if you're driving, Bricktown is very close. The Country Inn & Suites facility & staff were great. The complimentary breakfast is also good; its more than your standard continental breakfast.

This is just down the street from Bricktown. Made it easy to go and get dinner. The area is being developed with several other hotels going up around it so there isn’t much in the immediate surroundings. It is new and clean. The room had a large fridge, sink, and stovetop. There was also a set of pots/pans and silverware and utensils for cooking. No dish soap. Mattresses were comfortable. Breakfast was really good! I would stay here again. I was very happy with my stay and the hotel was comfortable and new and clean.

This hotel was exceptional. I was actually surprised at the economical rate and the location downtown near Bricktown. Very clean and modern. I will be staying here again for sure.

We stayed here because we needed a property close to OU Children's Hospital. The staff was friendly, the location was perfect, and the price was very reasonable. Although the property was clean overall, there was a lot of hair in the shower drain. This is a small thing, but it kind of detracted from the overall cleanliness.

It is a wonderful property, but hard to find. It is completely hidden by a Candlewood Hotel, we had to go into their lobby to ask where the Country Inn was located. She said right behind us. One small sign on the street, easy to overlook in the dark and no large sign at all to identify the building. It is back far enough to be hidden from the street, due to buildings in front. A large lighted sign would help, plus signage to direct you to go behind the buildings facing the street.

We had already paid for our room and tried to check in 30 minutes early (@2:30). They told us no, we could not check in until after 3:00pm. We left and ran a few errands and returned to the hotel to check in at 7pm. They then told us they had given away our room because we did not check in at 3pm as it is a first come first serve basis. Even though we had already tried checking in and we had already paid. The staff that was there when we initially tried to check in were extremely rude. The property also had a bad smell. Would not recommend especially because of their front desk.

Prepaid for a double bed room and they freely gave it away and told me “first come, first serve.” And I had to take it or leave it an hour before a birthday party I’d driven over 200 miles for. Manger was unhelpful in resolution and never responded. Had to call corporate twice because the staff was horrendous and tried to blame Expedia! How is this Expedia’s fault? You were prepaid. Never again.

For a non smoking facility the potent smoke smell was awful. All of my clothes and belongings smell of smoke. Air freshener did nothing to hide it. Kitchen in the room was good. Had everything except no forks. Also called for towels and never received them. Had to go down to lobby to get them.

Weekend getaway
Since the hotel is brand new and in a great location, we typically rent from it when we visit OKC. A full-sized refrigerator is also included. But this time, the hotel appeared to be dilapidated. Our bed linens and the carpet both had stains and were worn. There was a pool of water outside your bathtub because the shower curtain was far too short. We're not going to rent from them again.
