  • One of the many local food stalls in the Chaweng walking street. This stall does not have a name but on their menu it says "Thai Food Thai Style" and is next to Samui Grilled Fish. We have tried different dishes from most of the food stalls and feel this one has the best quality, consistency, taste and price. They make a great Tom Khai Kai, Pad Se-eew Goong and Pad Thai(no tofu at it is dried out). Enjoy. #market

It’s not the first time I’ve stayed at Nora lake view and it won't be the last time. Very polite and helpful staff, great location for what I needed and the local restaurants and mall are all very close.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The lift should be available for all floors. It was very difficult to carry luggage up to my room even if it was for one floor. Also the room telephone should be fixed. Otherwise a good hotel

I loved how spacious and comfy the bed and room were. The location was was convenient- right on the main tourist road with all the shops and close to the airport. The staff were helpful, especially the female receptionist who is so friendly! There is also a cute dog who stays there. A problem I had was the towels and bed sheets were always stained, even after I got new ones and you can hear noisy guests in the corridors. There was a musty smell in the room. Sadly, the bathtub was old and looked broken too. I think there are better hotels I would stay at next time.

Das Zimmer war groß und geräumig, was sehr angenehm war. Leider war die Matratze sehr hart und die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig. Man hört jegliche Geräusche, wie z.B. den Fernseher aus den anderen Zimmern, oder Türenknallen und Stühlerücken. Besonders nachts war es oftmals sehr laut, vor allem wenn andere Gäste sich im Treppenhaus laut unterhalten haben. Daher haben wir leider immer sehr schlecht geschlafen. Mit der Ausstattung, dem Service und der Lage waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Ett fräscht hotell med nära till allt. Fanns ingen frukost på hotellet och heller inte man kunde köpa till när man kom dit så de var ett minus. Det finns ingen balkong men de gjorde inte oss något.

Good Value for the Money

Rooms were big and spacious. Everything was clean and it was a good price for the location. Modern rooms and up to date appliances. Only tricky part was finding it--the main entrance is on the lake side, but I was on the walking street side. Not much parking on that side of the street so was an adventure to find a spot and get sorted. 1,000 baht deposit required as an FYI.

Det var fint og billigt. Men hold da op det var meget larm. Nok fordi det er fliser så meget lydt. Vi klagede et par gange over dem over os. Det lød som om de flyttede rundt på møblerne. Det var både tidlig morgen og sen aften. Men alt i alt et ok hotel til pengene.

Great place, iv stayed there before, its about 15 mins for the airport and 25 mins for Mea Nam pier. Next to McDonald, Burger King and a 5 min walk to Central Festival with English films in the cinema.
