"Decent size room with lift, lovely swimming pool with jacuzzi and sauna and a nice garden. Walking distance to the seafront and 5 minutes drive to supermarkets. Staff there were fantastic. Breakfast and dinner were enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay there. Thank You!"

"My second stay here in the last couple of months and once again I was not disappointed. I stayed on the main building with a lovely room. I used the gym facilities and instead of dining elsewhere, decided to stay on site and eat at their restaurant. The food was utterly delicious and completely vindicated my decision. "Had a lovely stay at the vale resort on 28 march. Made use of the spa and had a 2 hour walk around the grounds,lake and castle after a lovely breakfast . Well recommended for a break away"

"Overall good, couple of niggles. It's located by a motorway and it is noisy as the windows dont shut properly. The breakfast was great apart from the bacon, which they cook folded in half so one side is crispy and one side is soft."

"From the outset the reception was chaotic with lots of noisey people. I had to queue for self check-in. I queried why there was a £5 car parking charge when this hadn't been pointed out prior to my booking. I asked why this was and he said because I booked with Expedia. So be careful. The hotel was tired and not worth the money."
