"The location was easy to get to all places of interest from the hotel we received a warm friendly welcome the room had everything in that we needed during our stay my favourite was the outside balcony /terrace where we relaxed with drinks many times during our stay"

"The room was spacious, had a comfortable bed, and great shower. It was very plain white with minimal decoration. No air conditioning, but a good floor fan that kept us sufficiently comfortable. You are given a security code for self check in and the rooms are up a staircase to the second floor. You can hear other people open and close their doors but no one bothered us. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants -- middle Eastern, Chinese, Turkish, Gelato-- and convenient shops and buses nearby. Lots of wonderful languages spoken in this area and friendly people. It's about a 15 minute walk to the tourist info as t city center where we picked up the hop on, hop off tourist bus (good idea). We'd stay there again"

"The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a triple room on the ground floor. It was spacious with comfy beds and linens. The gentleman at the front desk was also lovely and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again."

"This is a big fancy hotel. We have stayed here before. It’s well-maintained and the staff seem friendly. But there are details that made this a less than excellent stay. Our room was literally blocks away from the front entrance - our GPS got confused when we were planning outtings— so if you’re not looking to get extra steps make sure to ask for a closer one when you check in. The bathroom was well appointed but the shower leaked and the sink was very slow to drain. There was an Nespresso machine in the room, but most of the coffee we were given was decaf. When we tried to order coffee to go downstairs they didn’t have any paper cups. So it was good - but not excellent."

"Regular annual visitors to this hotel so knew what to expect. Room was large and clean. Staff we came across were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast room was very well stocked there was a really wide choice from the buffet. River walk of about 15 mins into the city. Very quiet at night on this occasion. Onsite car parking is £25 per day. Check in agent did not ask for payment and when i asked i was told it was included which surprised me as it never used to be. I went back later and challenged them on this again and surprise another check showed it wasn't so an apology was given and £50 was taken. Failure to pay would mean a £100 fine later on so beware of this. Couldn't get a stable picture on any tv channel which was a little frustrating but then we weren't there to watch tv."

"The room and bathroom is quite big and clean , I thinks it have been renovated, the reception area is a bit old and once I have entered my room I feel a bit better that they are quite cleaned. The bed was comfy but the pillows were not because they were lumpy and wearing off. The owner was very friendly and overall I am happy."

"We had a great time in this property, which is described accurately on the site. It is located a bit outside Oxford, but within walking distance (40 min brisk walk). You can also use the wheels in Oxford (scooters mostly available) and the X3 bus was very convenient. The reason why I docked marks is because I found the processes associated with the property stressful. Now I have been through it, I would book again. Check-in is process heavy compared to a hotel and you have to pay a £250 deposit. You only receive the code for the mail box where the keys are located at 3pm on the day, so until I was there, I thought it may have been a scam tbh. I had phoned the company and they explained the process, but I was still stressed. Hopefully this review will put you at ease. The exit was then stressful because of the deposit refund. There was a broken kettle when we came in and something happened with the sink on the departure morning as we washed up for the first time. We did everything we were supposed to do and got the deposit back, but it took a more than a week, so some stress there too, as there were reviews mentioning issues with the deposit. So all in all, we had a very nice stay, but the before and after could have been smoother. Now I know, I would book this property again."
