From the moment we were met by a very pleasant and helpful Aksel at the front desk, to our beautiful room on the 8th floor, to the outstanding breakfast service, both food and staff, and the most delightful and caring housekeeping staff member throughout our week, we enjoyed the hotel and all of the staff immensely. The location is great. The Thon Rosenkrantz is a truly outstanding 5 star hotel. "

"We really enjoyed our stay, especially the wonderful connecting rooms – perfect for families or groups. The location was fantastic; we were able to walk everywhere, and it was super convenient to reach the train station or catch a bus.
Our only issue was with the showers. While the water pressure was excellent, the lack of a rubber seal on the bottom of the shower doors caused water to flood the bathroom floor each time we used it, which was quite a hassle.
That said, the rooms themselves were...
"We are frequent international travelers. Loved the location and the service! The location was a short walk from public transport and in a cozy, quiet neighborhood. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive to our needs, especially after a long international flight. The breakfast buffet was well worth the splurge with an incredible amount of variety. We will stay here again! "
"Location is outstanding - close to the harbour between the Central station and the Opera House. Easy walk to the main museums and shopping area and well served by public transport. It also boasts an amazing buffet breakfast included in the price - a really valuable extra in a city with such high restaurant prices. The single room was small, but well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and windows which open for fresh air. "
"A lovely clean hotel, spacious rooms. We had dressing gowns in our room which was lovely. Tea and coffee and water available all day in reception. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choices. Staff were very friendly "
