"My sister and I love coming to the Lincoln Hotel and have stayed over the course of many years. This time our visit was especially good, largely in part because the staff on Reception were so courteous, welcoming and efficient. They really went the extra mile for us, enabling my sister, who has mobility issues, to move around the hotel stress-free. They were truly amazing. "We could not fault the hotel in any way. The room was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. All the staff were fabulous. Friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. Breakfast was a delight with lots of choices (though I was sorry to miss the black pudding) and all the plates were warm so the food didn't cool quickly. In all wonderful stay. Thank you."

"This is a lovely hotel. Great situation opposite the castle, so at the top of the hill! Continental breakfast of pastries, fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese toast. Plenty to choose from. We had a standard room which was spacious and nicely decorated. Large shower room. The plug sockets had been upgraded to include USB and phone charger sockets so you don’t need a plug.
