North Barrington Packages (Flight + Hotel)

My room was just okay. Location is great. Water pressure is just ok. Sink drain was stuck closed had to pry it out and leave it out all weekend. Shower design is goofy, water sprays all over the floor lol. The sink faucet was bizarre. Had like 2-3 inches under the water before your hands hit the sink? Almost zero place to put anything in the bathroom. Had a pedestal style sink, but a cheap vanity top from Home Depot would’ve been miles better. No idea why they went with this design. Nightstand drawer just casually stays open all the time. Other than that it was pretty decent. No major issues.

The staff is very helpful, always ready to answer any question about the hotel or about the city of Chicago. The hotel is very clean , the breakfast is very good with many choices and the staff in the restaurant is excellent. My wife and I stayed in that place for eight days and seven nights and we are very happy to be there. Also the hotel is in a very good location very close to some of the most important places of Chicago. If you want to visit the beautiful city of Chicago do not miss the opportunity to know this hotel.

It was a nice room. Only complaint would be air conditioning. I don’t do hot. Hate sweating. Had turned to 65 and still not really cold. Otherwise overall nice.

The hotel was very nice. The room and room service were very good with a nice normal shower that did not spray water everywhere! We had breakfast one day at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious! Coffee in the lobby every morning was perfect and ice waters the rest of the day. The issue was the hotel restaurant closed after lunch and was closed for the night on both Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day Weekend when the hotel was packed with guests. There was no bar on the property open at night! Also, the rooftop terrace was full of people (staff) smoking even thoug the sign in the door to the terrace specifically said no smoking. There could really use a lobby bar there that also has some all-day snacks.
