Comfortable apartment hotel

The location is very close to the arena, convenient, quiet, and very comfortable apartment hotel. The first floor is very high and has good lighting. The breakfast dishes have room for improvement.

The room was perfectly clean, it was a pleasure to stay in a room so well maintained. But the room had a bad view . Infortunately the fire alarm went on at 2:30 am and we had to get out in front of the hotel. 10 minutes later we could reenter.

Excellent hotel with a great location next to the arena. Helpful staff at the front office. Underground car par opposite hotel for which hotel residents pay a subsidised rate. Lovely pedestrian zone next to hotel.

Lovely hotel, in a great area to explore Nimes. Kitchen area in the room well equipped. Excellent reception staff who spoke English fluently. Only disappointment was breakfast which we only had once on our last morning- very cramped breakfast room, not a full selection on offer at 9am ie no yogurts, sausages tasted awful and were all dried up, definitely not worth the money.

Not Four Stars

I will start with the positive: this hotel does have an incredible location in the very center of Nimes. Our room had a lovely view of the plaza and we were within steps of the Nimes Arena. It was also relatively quiet. That said, this hotel just didn't strike me as a four-star property at all. We were jet-lagged when we first arrived so we went to take a quick nap before going to explore the city, only to find dried blood (or best case scenario, rust) on the sheets. The front desk agent did immediately come remake the bed with new sheets, but that was a bit alarming. Overall, the room just seemed dirty and dusty and that impression was only reinforced by the dark, musty-smelling hallways. The bathroom situation was also odd. Our room had a small bathroom with just a toilet by the door, with a larger bathroom (shower/bath combo and sink, no toilet) next to the bedroom. This was awkward at night as you had to walk all the way through the apartment to go to the bathroom. The shower drain also got clogged every time we took a shower, resulting in a few inches of standing water much to my husband's disgust. While the location was wonderful, I just don't think we would choose to stay at this hotel again due to the issues mentioned above.

Wonderful Receptionist female (apologies for not remembering your name!) welcomed us with a bottle of water. Excellent breakfast. 2 BR apt sleeping 0rooms Very Dark. No luggage racks - eek: senior ladies squat to get stuff out of suitcases on the floor. Or unpack everything: NO!

This was awesome. The apartment was very large, with 2 floor to ceiling (15 feet) windows in the living room and another in the bedroom. Very quiet both weekend and week night evenings. Never heard anything from other guests. Staff were excellent. Can walk in a few minutes to the Arena and a bit farther to the Maison Carrée). Lots of restaurant options. Grocery store 10 min away on foot. City is elegant, tranquil. Cost very reasonable. Look forward to coming again!
