Cost more money than this damn break chain with breakfast, there was no way we were going to eat that food with all the gnats flying all over the place Way over price this really isn't even worth an Indian $5 hotel. "We (2 adults and 2 kids) had a pleasant stay at Stumpfields. It is 500 meters above Ooty town and within half an hour driving distance. This picturesque place is quiet, serene and well-maintained. Plenty of small and medium sized birds can be seen in and around the property. Breakfast prepared by the staff was very good and homely and the rooms are well maintained. The access to the property is steep, narrow and the terrain is little rugged, so be prepared and experience is needed to get to the parking spot near the manor. There are parking spots available a little away as well... Aged and elderly with mobility issues might have difficulties in this place, so best to avoid. Please note that pets are not allowed here."
