Kitchen was left dirty by inconsiderate visitors. Parking was poor, only 4 spaces and got boxed in by other visitors. There was no staff, as only remote phone contact was available and this was less then professional. However, the location was good and stay cost was competitive, so reasonable value for money, not fantastic, but ok given the price. You get what you pay for! It was not dump and was reasonably clean. Just had some poor vistors while i was there!

Good location, good parking, very poor room.

The locaton was excellent. The check was good. Room was very close to the entrance and the kitchen area but surprisingly very quiet. The mattress was putrid. Absolutely disgusting. Dirty and noticable bugs. The shower unit was appaulling. Screens were damaged and off the tracks. The wood work around the shower was rotting. No vents. Windows would not stay up in place to eleviate some of the steam from the shower. Parking was good. Will only stay there again if I am desperate. Sorry but I'm glad I only stayed for one night.

Room was terrible, broken shower door, broken toilet door, window didn’t stay open. The worst part is the check in process. Spent an hour in the phone getting a code to get in front door, then all the room numbers were different to what we were told.

On street parking only. My partner felt uneasy the moment we arrived and even more once we entered the building and the room. We left immediately and chose to find another motel closer.

Cockroach motel

The only pro was it had a vending machine! cockroaches everywhere, the bed, the fridge the bathroom, walked into our room and there was sick on the wall, graffiti, hole in the bathroom door stains on all the bedding and the floor, we couldn't wait to leave. Seems this company have a lot of hotels that are run remotely and not checked upon.

The property had water stains on the carpet and window blind. The toilet was stained and unclean. The room had an awful smell.The bedsheets were yellowy white and looked old and unclean. The towels were grey white and looked old and stained. Overall not a pleasant stay. I have photos if needed.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Had bed bugs and baby cockroaches in our beds, had to drive all the way home cos it was too late to find alternate accommodation then got refused a refund from the hotel. Would not recommend to anyone.

Do not stay at this property it is not safe! The one night I stayed was the most frightening experience of my life. I do not recommend this accommodation to anyone. The property has a locked entry and no staff onsite. The 'facility' accommodates mental health patients alongside regular unsuspecting guests. The night I was there, one of the tenants had a psychotic episode. I was subjected to screaming, banging and wailing all night. At one point through the night I looked outside to see if anyone was hurt, someone was running down the hallway with a knife. The person banged on my door and tried to get in, I was terrified. I called the Police for help, however prior to their arrival; the psychotic person broke a window downstairs and smashed furniture, then ran away screaming welding a knife. The Police stated that the facility was once a nice bed and breakfast, before it turned into a med stay. When I tried to contact the Manager of the facility (I got an answering machine) and left a message. I left the property early that morning and found more suitable and safe accommodation. Later that day a staff member called and stated that I would be fully refunded. I paid $1,149 and was refunded $1,046.94 after 3 days. I still had to pay for a night of hell and definitely the worst night of my life. Other reviews noted the smell in the hallway, well I agree...it was horrendous, kind of like vomit and garbage mixed together. I understand now why the kitchen had no equipment.

The property was very close to the main street , with onsight parking, ment it was easy to walk to my appointment. Noise was not a problem, however the bed was too soft for my liking. Overall had a pleasant stay.

The best thing is that wonderful location! Close to the Main Street of Mayfield and it’s fabulous ambience. However, the loo leaked, the button fell off when pressed, and the bed could have been better.

We didn’t like: *the lack of information about the code until we arrived and had to phone for it. It could have been emailed ahead of time. *the stiffness of the front door - we thought it was locked!!! *the lack of lighting in the hall - we had to use a torch to use the key to our room. *the useless lamp in the bedroom - we had to call again for it to be replaced.
