I only stayed one night and arrived late, but I was met by the owner who welcomed me and showed me to my room. A little unusual with air purifiers, but this relates to the natural approach the owner takes. Breakfast was excellent and healthy.

Brendan is a great host and made us very welcome, the beautiful, historic house has been lovingly restored very tastefully furnished. Highly recommended.

I do really like this hotel and venue

Really enjoyed our stay at the Margaretville Mountain Inn, room was lovely and really comfortable, especially the bed! The In. Is really nice and the lady who runs the place is very friendly. We didn't have breakfast as we left super early to get to our next stop.

We visited with our 8 and 6 year old and had a wonderful weekend! The rooms were clean and had everything you needed to self cater. We loved that they were stocked with s’mores kits for the children and bug catchers. The grounds were nice and great for exploring. The customer service from the staff was fantastic and helped to make it a great weekend. We would recommend to others!

Very nice place to stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming . Lovely breakfast baskets available (additional charge). Only improvement would be cleaning of room . We got a message while out asking if we would like the room cleaned that day with a circa 3 hour window that cleaners were available . We asked for it to be and unfortunately it wasn’t when we returned. Put it down to message system delays but think better system needed than this. Definately worth visiting though .

Fabulous resort, food, service. We visited from the UK and for sure will be returning. Highly recommend.

Black Bear lodge is a great getaway and excellent base to explore the area as it’s so central. We had excellent communication ahead of our check in, a real warm welcome and helpful with dining tips. The room was spacious and comfortable. The lodge is just off the main road but if we heard a car we didn’t notice, it’s so quiet around there. Great location and ticked my box for being a "proper motel" as we could park right outside our room! The property is clean but run down. Rooms are huge and beds comfortable. The man checking us in answered a phone call during the proccess so just handed our key with nothing more, it felt a little rude and rushed. I would have liked his attention to ask questions. Delhi is a great little town, we loved our stay.
