The Grand Hotel

"I stayed at the Grand as I wanted to experience an old English style seaside holiday, I was not disappointed. I arrived by train and it was steps away from the station, only a short walk to the beach, shops and alternative places to eat. I Had two dinners in the restaurant, overlooking the sea which were both lovely. All the staff I met were helpful and friendly. The Hotel is full of old style charm and you just wouldn't get that in a new property so it is a unique place to stay and I would definitely return."

"I did have a small problem with a cooked sausage found on the floor of my room on arrival however reception staff were very quick to offer me another room of give me a drinks voucher I accepted the voucher as the rest of the room was exceptional and I decided to stay in that room anyway."

"The hotel was fab, great location, lovely staff and awesome breakfast. The only slight inconvenience is that there are no plug points near the bed to charge your phone, which is unusual these days. Would totally stay in future and use the pool etc when it reopens. Thank you!"
