"We had a great stay! Such a great place to stay for families! So many kids, so many activities. We stayed in the row cabin and it was great for 2 adults and 2 kids. It was clean and had everything we needed. As a heads up, there is little to no cell service or WiFi in a lot of areas, BUT you’re in the hills, so to me, that is to be expected and disconnecting was nice for all of us. We used both pools which were clean and nice, they were busy at times but it was in the 90s all weekend. We played multiple rounds of mini golf, enjoyed the glow stick party and movie night. Our son joined in multiple games of sand volleyball. So many fun activities. We had breakfast at the Prospectors Tent which was affordable, fast and delicious! We had multiple suppers at The Peak Grill and tried different things each time and all enjoyed our meals. We enjoyed ice cream at Turtle Town and coffee at Grapes and Grinds. The kids loved shopping for souvenirs at the stores. It’s a great location and easy to get around to see other areas of the Black Hills. All in all, it was a great trip and we’d love to come back!"

"For whatever reason the Lantern Inn had us getting there a day before our scheduled date so they had us down as a “No Show”. They said that they had had some issues with third party reservations and couldn’t call us. Anyway, when we arrived, it was confusing but they were amazing and made sure we were accommodated and made sure everything was good. It is such a friendly, nice place and, I never did catch her name, but the manager was soooo nice and soooo helpful. Great place."

"This is an independent motel and cabins owned and maintained by a very nice couple. Great location and amenities including a pool and hot tub. They do post a lot of rules and alerts in the room asking to help be neat and control the cost of things, which is unlike many hotels, but I appreciated what they were doing. It's kind of dated but very comfortable and unique. I would definitely stay there again."
