Beautiful place to be, pleasant patio and cozy room with small kitchen area. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Very much recommend for a quiet, relaxing time!

Charming, quiet spot in the hills outside Naxos Town. I had a lovely time. The hosts were kind and communicative and left me a bottle of wine and other goodies. The facilities and the surrounding village were lovely. Parking is available and easy as well. Would stay again!!

A charming place

A very charming hotel in Galini. The room was spacious while cozy with unique furniture. Every detail was covered. From honey for the tea, to bath robes and slippers. Enjoyed meeting the owner and sampling his delicious wine. We will return.

Logement confortable et spacieux, mais bruyant.

Nous avions réservé à l'hôtel Naxos Filoxenia et à notre arrivée devant l'entrée de ce petit hôtel situé dans le haut du village, nous avons patienté 1/2 heure à sonner et à téléphoner au numéro de la réservation (sans réponse) avant qu'une jeune fille de la maison d'en face vienne nous chercher, pour nous installer dans un logement moderne tout neuf situé dans cette maison. Nous aurions préféré loger dans les chambres plus traditionnelles figurant sur le site d'Hôtel.com, mais nous n'avons pas eu le choix ! Le logement fourni était cependant spacieux, propre, confortable et bon marché, bien que manquant de mobilier (ex : tables et lampes de chevet, vaisselle, ...) et d'informations sur la région et concernant le code-wifi (nous étions à l'évidence les tout 1ers locataires et n'avons jamais rencontré le propriétaire, seulement ses enfants qui nous ont apporté des légumes frais pendant le séjour). Le principal point négatif est que ce logement était très bruyant car on entendait trop clairement la TV et les enfants des appartements au-dessus et à côté, et j'ai donc dû frapper aux portes pour faire baisser le son, ce qui n'est jamais agréable en vacances... Le village est très typique et une belle plage est à 2km seulement. Un moyen de locomotion est indispensable pour s'y rendre ou aller à Naxos situé à 15 minutes.

Lovely room in a quiet village

Stayed in a lovely room with a great balcony overlooking the village, the valley, the sea (to one side) and the mountains beyond. Really nicely decorated room in a rustic style with a good bed. Only slight complaint was the standard of soundproofing, let's say it's no better than most Greek hotels! We had to ask some of our neighbours to quieten down during the quiet hours...The owner was friendly, perhaps a little quirky, and gave us some lovely free jam and fruits. A special mention to the cleaner who was lovely!

Petit problème en arrivant : la chambre ne correspondait pas au descriptif donné par hôtel.com. C'est la deuxième fois que cela nous arrivait en quelques jours. Le propriétaire n'a pas hésité une seule seconde et nous a donné la chambre que nous souhaitions, alors qu'elle était plus chère. Cela a été facilité par le fait qu'il n'y avait personne d'autre (dans notre première expérience, à Hydra, nous n'avions pas eu satisfaction, ni dédommagement). Là, tout a été parfait, y compris les fruits du jardin et la confiture maison gentiment offerts. L'endroit est très calme, ce fut parfait.

Naxos in relax

Sicuramente posto tranquillo per una vacanza rilassante lontano dalla confusione. Buona pulizia, ottimo servizio per asciugamani e lenzuola. Migliorabile la pulizia del bagno. Il signor Vangelis (proprietario) è stato molto gentile, premuroso ed accogliente.

Πολυ ωραιο ξενοδοχειο και το δωματιο ανετο με ομορφη γραφικη διακοσμηση.Παρειχε ακριβως οσα εγραφε.Ο ιδιοκτητης φιλικος και προθυμος να βοηθησει σε οτι χρειαζομασταν.
