"Beautiful property, super tranquil and lovely staff. The views are absolutely unmatched, and the food is delicious. A little pricier than other places but for good reason, worth every penny! The only feedback we'd share is based on the rating of the hotel the pool could do with a good scrub as it's a little rusty in places. "

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The check-in process, the breakfast, the staff...everything was going well beyond expectations until...the check out. I was charged for the entire room snack bar selections and drinks, even though we only grabbed one of the kitkats. I let them know and they then got aggressive and even said that if it wasn't me it was the other person in the room because the snacks had been "restocked" in our room. I told them that no staff had even been in the room other than for room service because we had a "do not disturb" sign on the door the whole trip. "

"Cant beat the price of this hotel! It amounts to what it is a nice clean hotel room, small bathroom and central area of Botafogo. Definitely would stay agin especially when budget traveling! Really liked the glitter and sparkles table they had for carnaval goers. Breakfast could be better, but was not bad at all! Staff are young and very friendly. You can get anywhere in the south zone within 10-20 mins from here even less. Definitely recommend especially if you think youre not going to be at the hotel a lot! Cute, quaint, fun"

"The service is the best and the pool is a very personal and shaded area with enough sun to do you justice, without causing skin cancer. The vegetation, trees and shade make you think of paradise. The breakfast is included and is not some simple cheese. Coffee , Juice, Yogurt and a very ample fruit bowl. Never wasteful this hotel is in the perfect area for relaxing and enjoying a view most people never see in Rio De Janiero. Very close by uber to some of the best restaurants in Rio De Janiero. "The location of this hotel is fantastic, especially during Carnival. It made getting around very convenient and added so much to the overall experience. What truly makes this place stand out, however, is the staff. Every interaction I had was positive. The woman at the front desk was incredibly helpful and kind she seamlessly assisted me in switching rooms and even helped me secure a last-minute ticket to the Sambadrome, which I truly appreciated. Another front desk staff member (The Black Man) went out of his way to help me find transportation to the Sambadrome when it was extremely difficult to get a taxi and multiple Uber requests were unsuccessful. When it was time to leave, a staff member (A Young Black Man) kindly carried my bags out to the taxi on my way to the airport. The team’s professionalism and willingness to help are what make this hotel deserving of five stars in terms of service. I did pay a significantly increased rate about double the usual price due to Carnival, as the hotel is advertised as five-star. Unfortunately, the property itself did not meet five-star standards. My initial room, which I understand may have been assigned due to high occupancy, was not very clean and had issues with mosquitoes and dead roaches. It felt like a room that isn’t used often. After switching, my new room was an improvement, but still did not quite meet five-star expectations. The facilities fell short of a five-star experience, the staff and location would bring me back. "Lots of noise and chaos, the room is incredibly small, the A/C you couldn’t regulate it was a straight freezer in there with no proper bed sheets to cover yourself at all. The breakfast was subpar. I took a triple room. But if you are more than one person they charge you extra per person which makes absolutely no sense since I booked a TRIPLE. Overall I feel completely scammed out of my money.
