The check in was difficult but properly the beds were comfortable and it was quiet. The property is a maze of apartments but has a nice gym and pool.

Started out great. The host got us in early. However, once in we notice only two beds and no pull out bed in the living room. We made reservations for 2 adults and 2 kids so it was a surprise there were no accommodations. Host didn’t seem to care when we contacted. All they said pictures are up to date on the posting. Yes, but it also says it sleeps up to 6 people. The condo was dirty with water bottles on the floor, food in the cabinets, stains on the towels and spelt food on the bottom cabinets. Now, they may have been in a hurry to clean to get us in earlier, so we did appreciate that. If you are expecting a “penthouse” it will not meet your expectations. It was only called a penthouse because it was in the top floor of the building, not even close to a penthouse level.

Beautiful apartment, very spacious and very close to all the action, only 1 key fob to get into the building which was a bit of an issue if you want to do things separately from your party but aside from that I’d highly recommend

The apartment was perfect for the four of us. It was very clean, had plenty of towels, the pool area was great! Close to Broadway area but far enough away! Communication with owner was very easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved our stay at The Haven. The hosts were very responsive. Just a block or two away from the Hop On Hop Off stop, which I recommend as well. A block away is The Snooze restaurant, where we had a great breakfast.

We stayed in July when temps were 90 degrees. Upon entering the apartment we were hit with hot humid air. We assumed the cleaners had just left because the floors were wet from mopping. It was so humid in the apartment it took 2 hours for the floors to dry. We thought maybe they had just turned on the A/C and it would cool off soon enough. An hour later when the temp in the apartment went up instead of down I contacted the host. We let them know that the A/C wasn’t working. They said they would put in a maintenance request. No ETA given. One member of our party has a health condition that causes them to have low tolerance for heat. Therefore, I let the host know that if the A/C could not be repaired we would need a refund so that we could find other accommodations. We told them we would reach back out after we came back from dinner. That would give them time to see if it could be a quick fix. After dinner we came back and it was even hotter. We let the host know and asked if someone was coming to fix it. They stopped communicating. We requested a refund and declined to give us a refund. I do not recommend working with these host as they do not care about guests’ comfort. The apartment itself was clean, but mattresses were the worst Ive seen. Bedding was dirty. 2 towels were dirty and no towels in the kitchen. Pool was dirty also. Major HWY right outside bedroom window. Terrible experience. Really put a damper on our trip.

While the location of this apartment was good, and the setup was really nice for two couples to have their own areas to stay, we were less than thrilled with our stay at this apartment in the Gulch. One elevator was broken, which was an inconvenience, and the cleanliness and amenities fell short of expectations. When we arrived, there was food left on the floor in the unit, which made us question how thoroughly the apartment had been cleaned before check-in. Additional bath towels would have been nicer, and although a Keurig coffee maker was provided, there were no K-cups available. The smoke detector also did not have batteries, which could present a safety issue. Communication from the host (after check-in) was also disappointing. I texted the morning of checkout to request an additional 30 minutes, but received no response. Overall, there were several avoidable issues that detracted from our stay. For the price and expectations of a rental in the Gulch, we expected better attention to cleanliness, basic supplies, maintenance, and communication. If these issues are addressed, this could be a great place to stay. A positive was the location - close enough to Broadway so ride share rides were reasonably priced or you could even walk in good weather.
