Quiet gorgeous bay for snorkeling. Food was very good. We could see the ocean from our bure. Great for people seeking a peaceful visit to beautiful Fiji.

Great budget friendly resort. Quiet. Great snorkeling. We don't like all inclusive resorts or lots of people so this was great for us. A bit more on the rustic side so don't expect luxury. We enjoyed our stay regardless of the state of the property. Staff were lovely.

Loved the whole vibe of this resort. Was so peaceful and quiet! So glad we rented a car and drove down from the airport for our first few nights in Fiji! Super cute resort, simple charm, lovely people!

Place was in poor condition. Staff were fabulous. You need a car it is long way from anything. The dirt track in and out of property is in poor condition Food is average at best.

Beach view was amazing The garden around the property is stunning beautiful plants as you walk through. great snokeling and kayaking warm friendly and welcoming we stayed in a beach bure which was great comfy had a a fridge which was great and you can top up your water bottle at the bar. However the continental breakfst is underwhelming could be improved by adding another couple of things butter and yoghurt. serving of food tongs for bread and access to cuterly not sharing knives. Hygiene for guest access to either hand dryer or paper towel in toilet near pool. The lounge chairs and swing need there covers replaced as they are ripped and the dogs sleep on them. We really enjoyed the remoteness of Mango Bay Resort; the people there are friendly, helpful and accommodating! It is a relaxing, simple, huts-on-the-beach place, with great food, bar, swimming pool, and easy access to the ocean - best place we have stayed in Fiji!

Perfect and special bure right on beach - Beachfront (Tula), with the sound of the sea and waves right outside your door. Bed mattress new, firm, excellent sleep. Outdoor open air shower unique and amazing, with gas-boosted instant hot water. Get a Vodafone eSim online a week before you go ($23 AUD for 50GB for 10 days), activates the day before you go, switch to it on arrival on the airport, get 4G 2/3 bars in your room at the resort as wi-fi only in the restaurant. Included Continental Breakfast good enough to start the day. Hire car needed, 2WD ok for the 1 km gravel road to resort, + easy to drive around Fiji as 50 km/h / 80 km/h everywhere, just watch out for the odd pothole. 2 hour drive from Nadi airport, stock up half way with beers and snacks at True Mart Yadua as cheapest and good selection. Friendly owner and staff always happy to help make your stay the best it can be, + friendly people everywhere you go in Fiji. Relaxing and chilled holiday, small and exclusive without the boutique or brand price.

Great place to stay if you just want relaxation by the beach. Staff are so friendly. It is a bit out of the way which we liked as it meant there wasnt an overload of people.

We loved our stay at Mango Bay. Stunning setting, beautiful gardens, great friendly staff, snorkeling outside the resort when you were experienced enough to venture out and look. Resort arranges boat trips for you but really you can amuse yourself without going far. The food was great and everything was reasonably priced.

This property is right on the water with views you cannot not beat! The customer service was incredible and the property itself is like out of a magazine!

Mango bay resort is a beautiful private little resort with bungalows in a lovely tropical garden. The beach is right in front of the restaurant for a beautiful view and free snorkelking, kayaking and paddle boarding in the private bay. Food was delicious (love the Fish tacos), prompt and very affordable. Ed and his team are very friendly and go above and beyond to help you and make it a great experience to stay there. We just got home yesterday and are already missing the place.

Fantastic stay, a small very quiet resort with a very personal touch. Owner extremely helpful and always available. Staff are amazing with a very personal touch. Accommodation was a rustic cabin with an open air bathroom, which gave the stay a really rural feel. If you’re looking for a modern shiny ceramic and chrome type hotel then this wouldn’t be for you. Overal a great vacation.

We really liked our stay here, staff is friendly and the owner dropped us at the bus station 2km further. It was quiet, we were about 8 people at the same time for the entire resort. The garden bure was huge (2 bathrooms) and confortable. The resort is isolated but perfect for some rest. Snorkeling & kayaking were free and the reef was magical. Restaurant was good but sometimes not in huge quantity. We recommend this place to anyone who like peace.

The resort was exactly what we were looking for, secluded , quiet and relaxing.we experienced a bit of the Fijian way of life . The Bure are very simple, both furnitures and ammenities are very eco friendly,if you’re looking for luxury this is Not for you.The owners Jen and Ed are extremely friendly and will bend backwards to accommodate you and help you in any way and together with all their staff they make an exceptional team.We loved their three dogs Mango, Pablo and Calana. We did snorkeling,kayaking,standing paddle boarding . They also have a swimming pool and a private beach…if you want to get away from all the luxury we strongly recommend Mango Bay.

Rooms renovated shower damaged n washroom not up to level. No heated water. Had to clean the wall fans so to get clean air. I love the delicious tasty paid food but they should add more on included breakfast menu

Quiet and secluded. I stayed for 5 nights.. there was one couple there when I arrived in the evening, and they left the following morning so I had the place to myself for 3 nights 😁 Staff were friendly. The owner was helpful in organising an excursion for me personally. Pablo (one of the owners dogs)was my sidekick for the trip, he followed me about...cute. I really appreciated the on sight activities provided (as and when required) I had waited 50 years to go to Fiji, and I wasnt disappointed! Beautiful island,with friendly people. The accommodation could do with a bit of a facelift, but for the price, just think basic (Travelodge quality) The continental breakfast was ok. The evening meals were, average I preferred the pasta dishes overall...and wish I'd stuck to 4

Mango bay was not what we expected from photos, beautiful setting but accommodation terrible, stayed in a beachfront burie, cockroaches in room, very dirty, toilet not able to flush and appears to have been this way for some time and same for others, outdoor shower left grit in hair, left early due to unsanitary conditions, but were declined a refund, Staff, especially Tina were lovely, manager didn’t acknowledge us or deem to discuss concerns on leaving, not worth the money

I loved my time at Mango Bay Resort. Such a beautiful property, a bit off the beaten path but that was perfect for some good r&r for my last few days in Fiji. Upon arriving, all the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Tina, Ili, Alicia, Naomi, Meli, Seta, and the others were all so pleasant and great to talk to throughout my stay. The resort owners, Ed and Jen, were also great to talk to and made lots of good suggestions of things to do while on the Coral Coast. Ed even connected me with his tattoo artist, as getting a tattoo while in Fiji was an important to-do on my list. The resort dogs, Mango and Pablo, both had such cute personalities and definitely added to my stay. I highly recommend Mango Bay Resort for anybody looking for a quiet, remote, and restful stay while on the Coral Coast. I'll definitely be back! :)

We booked 7 nights but only stayed 2, was happy to cut our loses and move to a more upmarket resort nearby. I really don't like to write bad reviews about our stays. My big mistake when booking here was only to read the good reviews. I should have read the bad ones which were pretty spot on in hindsight. Having said that , i believe some people might like it here although i found it isolated and dreadful and couldn't get out quick enough. Just not my cup of tea , expected way better when you consider the rates are almost on par with the more well known resorts.
