What are the must-see historical sites and other places to visit in Na Thon?
Favourite places to visit include Nathon Pier, Lipa Noi Beach and Nathon Beach. In the area, you'll also find Lamai Beach and Chaweng Beach.
What is a historic hotel like in Na Thon?
A historic hotel gives guests the chance to stay in a place that's been recognised with an official historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world can be palaces, castles, stately homes or even lodges, pubs or skyscrapers — any building that's been identified as being of special interest. These types of hotels in Na Thon often preserve original elements such as period features or traditional architecture in their communal spaces or guestrooms.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
The two are similar. "Historic hotel" is a term often used in the US, whereas "heritage hotel" is common in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to focus on the building and architecture itself. A heritage hotel draws meaning mainly from the cultural value and how it shaped the community.
Do historic hotels in Na Thon have modern facilities?
Yes. Every effort is made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, while interiors have safety features and modern conveniences. Guests should expect the popular amenities from a contemporary hotel such as private rooms with updated bathroom facilities, WiFi and more. In Na Thon, booking a historic hotel doesn't mean you will stay in a place that's uncomfortable for guests or rundown.
