"Its an older hotel but safe and clean. I was disappointed there wasn't bacon or ham in breakfast area and no orange juice. We always use this hotel before our cruises. "

"We stayed at Clarion Pointe Galveston and had a mix of positives and frustrations. The location was great, parking was convenient, breakfast was very good, the waffle makers were fun, the coffee was excellent, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Unfortunately, cleanliness was a major issue. The floors in our room, both hard floors and carpet, were extremely dirty. Our feet and socks kept getting filthy, and we ended up wiping the floors ourselves with towels. We also saw messes in the walkways that were not cleaned up promptly. The stairwells were dirty, and one elevator was out of order. We appreciated that the hotel offers a laundromat, but it was not very user-friendly. There is no change machine or detergent dispenser, and the machines only take quarters, which was never explained. I had to make multiple trips to the front desk, and one dryer was out of order. Communication needs improvement. We were never told about the outdoor shower, which would have helped a lot after the beach. It took over five hours to receive fresh towels after requesting them. The hairdryer was very weak, and the alarm clock was unusable and was also the only place with USB ports. There were no privacy curtains, only blackout curtains. On our last day, even though we had a confirmed late checkout, staff knocked loudly twice before our checkout time, which was very uncomfortable. Overall, the hotel has potential, but cleanliness and communication need significant improvement."

"We loved the ocean view and breakfast was delicious! It's under construction right now, but they were very accommodating with teaming up with the hotel next door for their Continental breakfast. Very satisfied! "

"Our room had an unpleasant smell. But the property was clean. My issue is that I was charged double. One person could not figure it out and referred me to the manger, that was not there. It was finally fixed and refunded. However, 2 days after check out i received another charge for a nights stay. I was told it will be refunded but it is still an inconvenience for this to happen after check out. "

"The inn is right on the seawall you just have to walk across the street to get to the beach there are plenty places to rent golf carts and other things, many restaurants nearby. And they serve an amazing breakfast by two women with the best personalities I've ever met. "

"I loved the Hotel, definitely family friendly. It was very busy for a small entrance, nobody really monitoring the entrance to have cars moving for them to unload. That being said, breakfast was a nightmare with guest grabbing a plate of bacon or grabbing a big plate of one item. No staff discouraging it. People were rude with the small elevators. Our room AC was very noisy it kept me awake every time it came on. "
