"Everything was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel is a standard, basic South American hotel. Good value. The neighborhood is interesting and safe during the day. It's located near the metro. It's not safe at night. I had a great time but understand that the neighborhood looks scary because of homeless people and troubled people but it's actually safe during the day. I had no issues but I stayed in at night. Also, there is lots of cheap food choices nearby. Good street food. There is a huge food market near the metro also. Fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese, etc. And the hotel is walking distance from Parque Bolivar and Parque Berrio. Both are safe and heavily policed. "

"This place is great- friendly owners and very helpful staff- even the maid went above and beyond when I was stricken with sickness- highly rated- non touristy medellin neighborhood but totally safe and surrounded with good food and next to a hospital (which is always a comfort) - free breakfast at a great place too- Near the metro and a bunch of markets- ok with foreigners and solo travelers for long terms too- 5star! "

"Conseguí este hotel por su ubicación, pero desafortunadamente el personal no fue el más amable, pero una mujer por la noche fue muy amable, le dije muchas veces lo amable que fue conmigo. Mi primera noche, cuando regresé a mi habitación, la llave se rompió dentro de la cerradura. A la mañana siguiente, alguien la arregló y martilló la parte rota de la cerradura y me dio una llave nueva, pero luego me cobraron el costo de reemplazar la llave, aunque no fue mi culpa, y ni siquiera habría escrito una reseña si no me hubieran cobrado, pero realmente me molestó."

"creo deben mejorar muchas cosas, las cuerdas donde los huespedes tienden la ropa , la lavadora sucia, una silla en las habitaciones y jarra con vaso en la habitacion, mejorar panos y sabanas, las chicas de la cocina y la recepcion muy amables, los jabones de los baños mejorarlos, la tv nunca lo prendian, el servicio de cable obsoleto."

"I stayed for 9 days had to asked for towels, trash can dump, no one cleaned my room. This place is in the heart of downtown from early mornings to late evenings expected noise from traffic and people. I had to keep the windows and patio door open, because of hot room,just to keep the room cool. The area is good during the day time,but at night at your own risk."

"I was robbed by a group of men while unknowingly traveling in the bad area of medellin. The owner and his staff helped my contact my family and associates as well as make safe travel accomedations back home. The service here is life saving quality. 11/10"
