"Room was small, but cheap and adequate. I used the bench outside my room to ponder, plan, read, surf and enjoy the flora. The grounds are a great garden. The staff, Cecilia and Joaquin, are wonderful. There is a bar/restaurant across the path, El Barrio, I highly recommend."

But when my group and I wanted to have more of an outing, San Pedro was a short ferry ride away. It felt so remote and convenient all at the same time. We loved this establishment because it captured the beauty of the lake while allowing us to enjoy our time away from all the noise. One of the best parts about our stay was the included breakfast and the dinner (not included) which was delicious! We thought we’d explore the island more for dinner but ended up eating at El Picnic because it was just that good.
