"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at palazzo brandano. The staff was amazing and accommodating! The breakfast is perfect and the view was worth a million dollars. Would highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely stay again! "
"Such a quiet and beautiful property, the hosts provided everything that was needed, and the location was great for visiting local Cantinas and Vineyards "
"This was a wonderful spot to stay a short distance outside of town in a very quiet peaceful area. The room was large and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Everyone there was very kind and friendly."
"We had a memorable stay at Sant'Anna Agriturismo. This is a truly unique property. We got to all access to the monastery including the Church, the lemon garden, the large dining halls. It is a very special place. Our hosts were very welcoming, they did everything to help us settle in. I would highly recommend the property to anyone who is visiting Tuscany. "
"Loved this hotel - great location. Really quiet despite such a central location. Yes rooms are not super modern but they reflect the history of the building. Great pool and breakfast on the terrace."
"One of the best places we stayed for one night , the host (owner and chef) was very friendly and the food he cooked was amazing - one of the best meals we had in the 3 weeks we stayed in Italy. Getting there by car was convenient but no easy to find. Once you are there the place is amazing and the food just great!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Palazzo Brandano in the tiny Tuscan village of Petroio (population around 287!). From the day before our arrival, Laura was already in touch with us—her communication and genuine care made us feel welcome and looked after right away.
The hotel is full of character and perfectly situated in this charming little town. Petroio itself feels like something out of a movie—you can literally drive through it in about 4 minutes. The streets are narrow, winding, and picturesque, giving you the sense you’ve stepped back in time.
While there aren’t any restaurants directly in town, there are several excellent options just a few minutes’ drive from the hotel, which worked out perfectly for us. The breakfast in the morning was very good, the cappuccinos were excellent, and the servers were amazing—extremely kind and incredibly fast in bringing out your food.
Laura and the team went above and beyond to make our visit special. If you’re looking for a hidden gem that offers attentive service, authentic Tuscan charm, and the magic of staying in a very small Italian town, Palazzo Brandano is a perfect choice.

"This is the most horrible property we have ever experienced. This place should be closed down and inspected by authorities.
There was no one on the property to check us in, we never received any codes for our rooms, no communication was forwarded to us prior to check in, got locked in once we entered the gate as we did not have a code to get out. The contact telephone number was out of service.
Once we contacted Expedia, even they were left speechless and struggled to help us to get out. All in all, we were frightened as there was no one there to help us. It was dark in a middle of a field with wild animals making sound usWith Gods grace we found a pamphlet on a ground that had some hotel information, and a code for the gate. Thankful we did not have to call the police and were able to leave at 11 pm.
There was no other hotels available in the area that had availability so we had to drive back to Florence to our original hotel.
Our trip got altered, we didn’t get to go to the hot springs and lost our tickets for the spa as we were way to tired (getting in to our original hotel in Florence at 2 am) travel back the next day. The most upsetting thing was, that our parents who are 76 and 80 had to stay in bed next day to recover from this ordeal.
We truly hope that this property gets investigated so that no one else has to experience what we did.
Our over all vacation ended up not being what we wanted and we came back home with a very bad image of that part of Italy. "
