Location is convenient, it’s surrounded by restaurants and shops. I got a room with a sea view but it's more of a city view with a slight glimpse of the sea. The wifi was disappointingly slow, and the bed squeaked annoyingly. The room was spacious, but floor did not seem clean. The bathroom lacked proper amenities, with only one towel provided and no hand or floor towels. Room service was prompt, but getting through to the front desk was hit or miss as they often didn't answer the phone.

The rudest and most unhelpful front desk staff I have ever come across. The breakfast absolutely disgusting. Gave me diarrhea. The manager is a helpful guy. Good location. Old beds. Good working TV channels.

I stayed in the Platinum hotel for 6 nights. The rooms are clean and the hotel is in a good condition. Staff is very friendly. Around the hotel there are many options to eat, restaurants, supermarkets etc. However just note that if you don't have a car you will have to spend a lot of money on taxis as it is quite far to get to the main touristic places.

I would come back solely based on the check in experience. The young woman who checked me in could not have been any sweeter or more detailed without going overboard. After a very long flight, I felt absolutely welcomed. This encounter set the time for the entire visit.

Property is well maintained and clean and in a convenient location. The pool on the terrace has great amabience and views! The whole staff is friendly and excellent, Ronnie, Savio, Thuraiya and Talat were all great at the Reception!

Great place
Great place to stay in Muscat - it’s clean, comfy, good location, the staff is nice and helpful and the breakfast is good. There is a gym and a pool and free parking. We booked a few nights first and then we extended our stay because we were so happy with it.

Loved my stay there, the hotel is slightly dated but very well maintained and has an authentic traditional charm to it. The staff members are welcoming, from reception to the restaurant and cleaning team. Loved the rooftop pool. The hotel is located in an old area of Muscat, however it's convenient with plenty of restaurants around and somehow mid way from the main places to visit.

Check-in was quick. The hotel staff is excellent. The property is clean and well maintained. The internet speed was slow. The average speed was 4MB which was slow for the work. Breakfast was ok, not many choices.

Great hotel and an even better staff
The Platinum Hotel was above-and-beyond what I expected. The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to major roads without seeming busy. Restaurants, coffee shops, and stores are all nearby. The hotel itself was very clean, with great rooms and a solid gym. And of course the rooftop pool is beautiful - especially in the late afternoon. But the best part about the hotel is the staff. Every single person is kind, generous with their time and knowledge, and available to support with any questions I had. I cannot say enough great things about the team - they helped make my trip to Oman phenomenal.

The Platinum is simply the best
The Platinum is a place I would love to stay again for my next visit tp Oman! Everyone was assisting and accommodating and the facilities are very clean The location is near all shops and everything else you need to enjoy your stay I love that there is a piano at the lobby where my son was able to play his favorite pieces

Very nice staff. They allowed me free late check out since my flight was cancelled. Great breakfast buffet. I wanted to check out the pool but didn't have time.

First time in Muscat
Pleasant 1 night stay & airport pickup. Taxis are super expensive in Muscat! Room was large, adequate amenities but mattress was a bit saggy, not a nice pillowtop. Pillows ok but only 2 on queen size bed. Shower gel, shampoo but no hair conditioner which I thought was odd. Body lotion, shower cap etc. Only 1 bath towel. Not that I would waste 1 for a 1 might stay. Buffet breakfast very basic with omelette station. Hotel is clean & well decorated. Staff was pleasant enough. Easy check in & check out. Pool was so overheated, but on rooftop so had a morning swim. Ladies gym has 1 bike that doesn't work & 2 treadmills & a universal gym with 1 broken cable on the side. TV in gym, made use of treadmill & free weights. Massage room but no time to try that. Spar grocery store 1 block away if you need to buy cold drinks or fruit etc. Room had fridge. Good selection of tv stations. Room safe.

Nice hotel in busy area!
Its a great hotel in the middle of the city. The service is great, rooms are spacious & the food is good (breakfast always had Indian hot food along with omelette & continental food). The hotel is near the main market & thus everything is available nearby, including a direct public AC bus to/from Airport
