"Lovely room bed super comfy , could use a small table and chairs for ease of eating breakfast . Kettle and toaster were a bit too low for us older guests to use well . Perhaps a taller toaster/ kettle table . Beautifully quiet room . "

Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed. Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there. It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd. "Booked 2 rooms at this resort on Expedia. Requested connecting rooms. Reached the resort late evening and was given rooms next to other but not connected. Room 1 with 2 single beds , a bathroom with nice separate shower and Tub. Separate Living room with great view. 2nd room was a kind bed, Accessible Bathroom. DISGUSTING with stains and hair. No separate shower just a curtain. We complained the front desk and the manager was polite enough to disinfect the bathroom. But it felt like staying...

"Totally immaculate! Beautifully presented with lovely white sheets, pillow slips and towelling. Not a mark anywhere. Gorgeous gardens, plenty of convenient parking spaces. The property is listed as a " motel" but that doesn't do justice to it. Built around an historic home, it's way more than that. We will stay here again."

"We asked for a ground floor room, were told we would be given one, and were put in a second floor room. The external stairs to the room were steep and not at all recommended for anyone suffering from knee issues. The room itself was fine, although there was no iron (which I only mention because I would've liked to use it, not a huge deal!). Microwave and fridge and crockery and utensils were great. The basin was outside the ensuite and doubled as the kitchen sink. It was quite large and perfect...
