Recently constructed (or remodeled) but retains traditional gasthof atmosphere in some common areas. One of the few places with air conditioning. Quiet. Very modern amenities. Breakfasts were very good. It is a 10 minute bicycle ride to the science center or a comfortable walk through protected forest land and along Isar River and over a pedestrian bridge. Public transit to science center would be much less convenient as there are no direct buses and buses from hotel into Ismaning are relatively infrequent. But for bicycling, there is a bike share depot a 3 minute walk from the hotel which almost always had several regular bikes and ebikes. Rides on either are very inexpensive and there are several depots at the science center for picking up a return ride bike. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was large. There are no restaurants or stores within walking distance and the surrounding area is all residential or farms. But the food at the hotel's restaurant was good if you don't want to go out.
