The atmosphere is difficult to understand as it seems to be directed at long-term residents and the expat community. "Ayodya is showing its age. It is as authentic as you can get for a Balinese resort being one of the first. However she is looking tired. Great staff with attention to detail. Food is okay. We had all inclusive so plenty to choose from. However, as we stayed 14 days we were over the options by day 7. Family pool was like a bath. Certainly warmer than other pools I’ve used in Bali. Great bedrooms with plenty of space and balcony. Nice having the sea breeze come through. However if you are even a little taller you’ll need to bend over to get your hair wet."
