"Amazing setting/location - i would say a gem of a location!!- very relaxing place -but the room we had was dated - with carpet having spots , couches not friendly for a conversation nor looking at the TV- seemed just not proper configuration of the space usage. The chair had a broken wood cross support! Overall and not the cleanest nor the most comfortable bedding or the room!!! I guess being near the wooded lot and along river - brings in a few bugs - somehow they managed to get in the...

"Check in was ok. The gentleman at the desk was nice. The rooms were not the best. The bathroom plug didn't work, the floors look clean but so dirty when i had to clean up some water. The bathroom had a couple of holes in the wall. I went to get ice, and the lady was not friendly at all. Said i should have brought my ice bucket but the ice box was too sticky to put ice in."

"Great stay. I have been at the Maple Leaf Motel several times over more than 20 years. I have always loved it, and I find it to be better than ever under the most recent management! I received courteous service, found updated equipment in rooms, which were extremely clean. I will be back, when my travels bring me to Goderich!"

"It was easy to find and very quiet despite being on a relatively busy rural highway. The owners were friendly, and very accommodating. The room was clean and up to date and the property was well maintained. Great for an overnight stay and we would stay there again."

Its carpets are old, no elevator on establishment, door closed after certain hour and nobody picks up the phone to respond to need to replace stained blankets. I am amazed such a 3 star hotel exists in Canada and there is no inspection by the town of Goderich. It barely deserves one star. We would definitely not come back"

"The Little Inn has been a special place to us for many years. It is indeed charming and the staff was all kind and helpful. We did discover on this trip that we should have waited a week or two since they were in transition to full season services. The dinner menu had several changes that had to be conveyed verbally since the printed menu was not updated, and, most disappointing was that there was no breakfast available except on weekends at this point. "The room was nice and clean. The strange thing was there was no staff to meet us when we arrived. Instead, there was a sign to call a phone number and the owners in the next house came over to show us to our rooms then left us. We were the only people in the building until we called again for breakfast the next morning when he came over again to make it. There is no pub as the pictures would suggest. This is a 6 room b&b with owners next door situation not a hotel/motel."
