"The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!"

"We just stayed three nights at Fare Manta. The property was lovely, the room clean and comfortable, the breakfast excellent, and the hosts Nathalie and Stefan (and their sweet dog Lhasa) warm and welcoming. It’s not right on the ocean, but you’re only 100 yards away, Highly recommended."

"I really wanted to give this place high reviews, but unfortunately the great pluses this property has (amazing location right on the water and views) are negated by an overzelous and controling owner. Prepared to be scolded, warned and admonished for many things a paying costumer would not in other stablishments. I.e. do not take the kayak out in the beautiful bay because it could be damaged by the coral..are u serious? Why have a kayak on the property if it cant be used. Or, dont leave the AC running or the lights on when you leave because it is very expensive (are u kidding me? I am a mature person who manage a budget of over $50M and have delivered many large construction projects and you are treating me like a 5 yr old?). This is a nice property and the owner tries to be nice, but from the hospitality biz perspective, its management needs a whole diffrent perspective. Moorea is an amazing, fantastic, laid back place. One shouldnt go there and pay good money to be treated like misbehaved kid."

"The property was cleaned daily and the sand areas were raked daily as well , the beach chairs were clean and ready. Outside dining was on your front porch.this 4 bungalow resort was located off the main road and very quit , the ocean waves were the only sound you heard as well as birds. Kevin the Manager,greeted us in the kindest way and his knowledge of the area was very helpful. Gave us a map as well. The staff, specifically Josiann were 100% amazing and friendly and made sure everything we needed was tended to, a pleasure to call her a friend now … property is on the beach which is very walkable, reef in the waves are full of tropical fish, not great for swimming, but the beach swimming beaches were not too far or crowded. Parking was on site and ample. And absolutely will be back to see the friends we have made there again! Thank you Mo’orea Golf Lodge for an unforgettable experience. "

"This booking was extremely misleading. When we arrived the owner asked us for 1000xpf for picking us up which was not mentioned in the booking. However with us being on vacation we didn’t worry about it, he led us to a lived in home and when I say lived in I mean he lives there and rents out rooms. In the booking at no point did it state we would be sharing a home with anyone and as we got in he states that 2 other couples would be joining us throughout our stay. If the booking would have been honest from the get go and let the person booking know that this was a shared accommodation we would be booking at our own accord. Another thing that really bugged us was everything was an additional charge. We did not stay here as soon as he finished doing the room tour he left and I was in expedia booking another place. The place we did stay in was Fare Oaoa Haapiti and was a 10 out of 10 experience. "
