"The property has great character and is in a good location. We had a half view of the water. Apart from from the air conditioning unit on the roof next to the unit it was nice and quiet.
The staff are very helpful.
Unfortunately we had some
issues with getting hot water in the shower at night but ended up okay in the morning. Pipes had not been used recently.
We will certainly return to this lovely character hotel.
Great for couples and value for money."

"Just your regular hotel. I guess I expected a little better for some reason… Our view was awful, skytrain station and parking lot outside our window. No fan in our bathroom which is very unusual. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, so that was nice. The mattress in our room was well overdue to be replaced. Parking is down the street but it’s only an issue if you have mobility concerns. 6.5/10 overall imo."

"The condition of the hotel is very poor. Two stories hotel, no elevator. Staff vas helpful moving luggage on the second floor and downstairs, but if you came late or early in the morning you need to carry it by yourself which is very difficult for elderly people for instance."

"Unique stay! - a building from 1800s that survived a huge fire! Definitely look into the history! - I found the location super convenient & I am a light sleeper and had no issues with noise. Skytrain station is right there and takes you from Surrey to downtown Vancouver easy. The waterfront is right there. Walking to restaurants, I would say this is a historic hidden gem! Definitely would stay again."
