"Unique stay! - a building from 1800s that survived a huge fire! Definitely look into the history! - I found the location super convenient & I am a light sleeper and had no issues with noise. Skytrain station is right there and takes you from Surrey to downtown Vancouver easy. The waterfront is right there. Walking to restaurants, I would say this is a historic hidden gem! Definitely would stay again."

"This place is disgusting and run down. $200+ USD per night for what? A closet sized room that’s hot and stuffy, has no available plug ins so you have to decide whether to charge your phone, use the $5 Walmart fan they provide, watch tv, or use the fridge. You don’t dare try to do all at once. We had to fix the shower head as it’s crusted and falling off. The whole place wreaks of cigarettes. "This is an older motel, very clean and has good utilities. Close to good restaurants, buses, skytrain and TNT supermarket. Needs a mirror in the bedrooms and airconditioning as the units can get very hot. Pro tip: opem the lounge window, put the small fan on the window sill and run the fan, it will draw in cold air from outside and cool down the lounge room. The unit was large and spacious."

"The hotel needed some work on the outside. The inside had been refurbished for the upcoming Fifa games. The room was cozy and bright with the most comfortable bed my husband & I have ever slept in. The room was very clean, but modest. We also had a view of the Vancouver skyline from our 3rd floor window. "The front desk clerk was great, very accommodating and helpful. He answered all my questions. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a bonus and good value. The location was very convenient to out event. Free parking is also a bonus."

"There was body fluids on the bathroom wall and no coffee anywhere on site. The staff worked in barefeet with flip flops. And the guest service was rude about us ordering food to our room at night told us not to use the lobby and walk all the way around with no elevator not worth 1300 for 3 nights at all ."

"I booked thru Expedia> the front desk agents were friendly and helpful. Especially since a large group came in just as I was checking in. The breakfast was very good. The room was clean but we could see some items needed repairs. Overall it was an okay stay. The pool is cute and clean."
