The Cove Hotel was a great find in Montreal. We loved our stay and even extended for a few days. The location was great and close to cafes, bars and a variety of places to eat. The apartment was warm, super comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen (even had a dishwasher!) big tv, modern bathroom with good water pressure, washer and dryer (so handy!)
The staff were friendly and helpful when you needed anything. We will be back!

Room was clean, staff was friendly and was happy to help us with any request.
Great value for a vibrant area of Montreal!
Place is great, my only advice would be to pack a few things that aren’t readily stocked—paper towels, a kitchen towel, and maybe an extra bath towel. Pack washcloths if you use those too, because they aren’t provided. But everything else is well stocked, like kitchen tools! Our unit was clean and lovely.

The William ticks all the boxes. Greeted at reception. Apartment 503 is uper clean, spacious, smart modern deco, comfy bed, full kitchen, nice bathroom. U even have a washer & dryer! Thank u team @ the William. Highly recommand
This location was fantastic for our needs on this trip and put us in a great spot for our little tour of Montréal. The room was clean & modern, and fairly well stocked on cutlery, dishes, etc. We had to ask for more TP as only 1 partial roll was supplied but no issues getting it. Front desk was friendly & helpful, and we didn't have any major issues with the room itself. This place is only a 2 minute walk or so from the metro, and is located at the heart of a lot of good food & shopping!
There were a few drawbacks that I'd like to express however. During our stay, we were located on floor 2, and the noise from outside was very apparent, even with the windows barred. Some extra insulation from outside noise would not go astray, especially given how late into the night the street is active/busy. It certainly wasn't a deal breaker for us, but just mentioning in case you're a light sleeper. The bed was decent, but not crazy comfortable. A little stiff for our liking. If you prefer a stiff bed though, it'll be up your alley! And the last note was the shower/tub combo did not have a proper door seal to the lip of the tub, so you were constantly getting water all over the floors when showering, even if you were trying to be mindful. A simple sweep seal on the bottom of the glass would have helped a lot to keep down on mess, and make showering a bit more comfortable!
Overall, 4/5, very solid stay! Would definitely recommend, unless one of the drawbacks is a dealbreaker for you.

This hotel was formerly a Sonder long-term apartment complex, and the value for the money was great. The location is excellent, being very close to the Mont-Royal metro station with a nice variety of good restaurants nearby. The room also had sufficient cookware to prepare a simple meal.
However, the check-in process was poor. I received the wrong code, and the receptionist was quite rude or perhaps just indifferent. It seemed like the hotel sending me the wrong code to enter and me asking for help entering was such an inconvenience (sorry, I will just sleep outside next time)
So overall, the hospitality here is not great for tourists. Additionally, apparently the walls are thin, so laughing at 11pm is a no-no. Also, the hotel is located right above a popular boulangerie, so you will smell fresh baked goods. You'll hear the occasional argument outside if you're on the 2nd floor.
Regarding accessibility, there is one inevitable set of about eight stairs. Even with an elevator for the floors, a wheelchair user would still have to navigate those steps.
The building uses keyless entry for everything. I recommend double-checking your entry code before you arrive and calling the property directly, as they are not responsive on Expedia. Note that no washcloths were provided (just towels) and the soap dispenser was initially empty. The beds were super firm (which I liked) and the pillows were very plush and soft. I would stay here again, but don't expect top-of-the-line service.
The Cove hotel is the BEST place to stay in Montreal!! It's in the heart of the Plateau, on the corner of Rue Drolet & Mont-Royal - with too many to mention restaurants, night spots, bakeries, shops & parks, and a few blocks from the main north-south Avenue Saint Laurent with even more shops & services.
This was our seventh stay and we honestly wouldn't consider anywhere else in the city. The Cove is a great value!!
Everything was good specially the girl who works at reception. She is very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend others to visit this hotel during their trip.
