Wasted my money extremely noisy!!Complained twice but nothing was done.Also i was given a room which was full of smoke and then they changed to a different room.

Closet door came off the track when we tried to hang up some clothes. Could not get housekeeping the next day because we didn’t know we had to ask for it when we checked in. Staff I asked to help us out said “it’s not my problem” and walked away. Hallway was dark and dirty. Need I say more?

We had to switch room because of very bad smoke smell, then was paying for queen bed but it was only a double so switched rooms again and gave us a upgrade to a king without paying which was nice. We were traveling with a large group and couldn't have all our rooms in the same building which made it difficult because the key would not let us access other building so would have to call the rest of our party to come to the door so we could hang out in each other's rooms. Nice to have a sink and stove top but induction so make sure you bring proper pan or else it won't work. Would have been a bit happier if it was cleaner. Happy it was close to highway so made our travels into city and our conference easier.

Usually I don’t leave reviews on business because sometimes I prefer to manage any matter privately with the concerned entity but let me explain my story. I booked this hotel aka motel practically a week before my stay but I came 3 hours late for my check out because there was a lot of traffic going around Montreal at that time. The lady that I met at the counter was nice and she checked me in smoothly. I left my bags in the car and went to check the room and the first thing I realized the room was bombed with cigarettes smell the I went down to the reception to explain to the lady at the front desk that I didn’t book a smoking room so I need to change room ASAP so she changed me the room and gave me one next door which didn’t do a big difference in term of smell. When I entered the room trust me when I tell you can smell the entire room fill like someone was cooking inside the room as I was tired I got in and put my stuff inside and close the door. I inspected the bed and they barely put anything on the bed, check the bathroom and not even my 6 years old son would enter that bathroom. Curtains are dirty, bugs are flying everywhere and shower don’t working properly. To be continued

Didn’t like the service was ask to come back 4-5 time every hour for checking if the room is available or not and she make excuses that all rooms were book last night while we book our room 10-12 days before and paid in advance.

Checking in was very challenging since they wanted me to do it online and were providing wrong link with missing letters and they didn’t want to admit it . The area is good and close to everything, however the place is not very clean , tv is not working ( no channels at all ) , the rate is good compared to area . Overall it’s not the best experience.

We've visited this place 3 times now. The first 2 times awesome, nothing to say. This 3rd time though.. our room was very different. Not much noise cancelling isolation, we could also see underneath the room door. Our bathroom door didn't close at all, not even trying to push or slam it. There was no hand soap, no body wash, no shampoo, nothing available for personal hygiene. The bed header and frame weren't very sturdy and the pillows were just horrible.. the smell of that wing of the hotel was unbearable as well. On top of that, there was an electricity plug outside all busted and in contact of snow!

Bed frame broken. Floor broken. Lied to about costs, said there was a restaurant there was not. Access cards were not working properly, blood on the bathroom floor, toilet was overflowing at random, 0 water pressure, mini fridge did not work, dryer not working properly.

In addition, please know that the satisfaction of our guests is a top priority and that is why we have completely changed the key system at our establishment. Also, we find it quite surprising that you mention that there was blood on the bathroom floor, knowing that our staff does a brilliant job of cleaning.

Senteur de cigarettes dans les chambres épouvantable pour ceux qui ne fume pas , cafe décaféiné peux etre en mettre du normal aussi serais bien , Le Bain qui avait du poils. Lit tres bien correct pas de cheveux ou de poils super pour ca. Bar ferme trop tôt.

L'Hôtel Newstar dispose d'un groupe de femmes de ménage professionnelles qui font généralement un brillant travail. Nous examinerons pourquoi les normes n'ont pas été maintenues à cette occasion.
