First the good points - location, price, quick check in and check out, no carpets. Now the bad points - The room was so disappointing. Did not smell good at all, and the only way to clear the air a bit was to run the air conditioner on high continuously which was noisy. Bathroom is a tight squeeze. The « view » was not a view at all. If you looked out the one small window, you viewed an interior service type small concrete area that was bordered so closely by towering concrete walls with a large pipe. Room was gloomy at all times. To see the sky, you had to press your face against the window and crane your neck upwards for a small pocket of visible sky, way, way, way up. It was like being in a room without a window. So I’d avoid room 322 and I guess any room ending in 22 on each floor unless gloomy and looking at concrete is your thing. Was also a tad anxious to find a bug in the bedding when I pulled down the duvet which led to a panicked scan for others. In retrospect, we probably should have asked to change rooms but decided to suck it up. Won’t do that again. Not sure how this hotel is a Best Western Plus as it does not remotely compare to others we stayed at. Left me questioning as to the assigned room was because we booked through Expedia.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was plain but designed in a way to easily maintain cleanliness which was impeccable. For instance my room wasnt carpeted, but one thing I dislike in less pricey place, is a grungy, uncleanable carpet.

Great location in quite part of Montreal, with beautiful pathways to big bumbrr of interesting places. Room require some renovations, and on first glance looked a little messy.

I have been traveling for past many many years and I have terrible service with this hotel which I will not book again. First, room is wrong and AC not on. I am told to turn it on which I refrain from trying. Then, I found out there is literally no hand and bath towels in the bathroom which is my first experience of this kind. That said, the service support is a very nice person who I am grateful for his help.
