"The Hendricks hotel was situated just a short walk from Centraal station and in an ideal location for access to all the city offers. The breakfast buffet was superb, staff were friendly and helpful and they have bikes on site that we rented 2x. I would definitely stay there again!!"

"Wow! This is one amazing hotel. It’s very clean, well decorated and cozy. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted and offered a beverage. The front desk staff were all pleasant and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was delicious and had many choices. I especially liked the fresh squeezed orange juice! "What we like the most about this hotel is the size of the room, it’s generous size if comparing with other 3 stars hotels. Location wise is brilliant and in walking distance approx 15-18mins to those canals (if you like to walk). But what I dislike this hotel is the house keeping services that they don’t provide room cleaning daily, house keepers only came to clean the toilets and changed the fresh towels daily. However, I still recommend to stay here if you visit Amsterdam."

"About 10 minutes walk from main train station. Friendly helpful staff. Swimming pool and gym area in basement. Convenient with walking distance to many restaurants and interesting locations. Spacious room. Bed okay, hot water pressure okay. Toilet door not lockable in room. Big desk, perfect for work with laptop. Slow elevator. A bit Pricey as many other hotels in Amsterdam. I guess you pay for the location. "

"Location is great. Rooms are worn-out, dark and very dusty. However, the bathroom is spacious and clean. Service at breakfast is not professional. They were lots of customers during our stay each morning and the staffs at Bridges restaurant told us that they couldn't handle with the large number of people since there wasn't enough of them. Service was very slow and unorganised. Overall, I think the hotel services and standard doesn't match with the price tag."

"Pension Homeland is a fabulous hotel with lots of local and artistic charm. There's so many cute details like the model ships on top of the elevator, the unique wall paintings, the animal display in the host stand, the twinkling lights on the building that look like the Eiffel Tower, and of course, the feline hostess Queen. I just really enjoyed the vibe of the place overall. I felt like I was on a summer euro trip in the 60's there. The Restaurant was also really good. I would highly recommend...
