Hopefully after the construction is done, it will be the normal peaceful and quiet place again. The pool was also out of service. I was not aware of the construction or the pool being out of service, and was not notified of this before my arrival.

I had to cancel my reservation because my son got into a little accident so i had to stay back to help him. I was suppose to check in Saturday at 2:00,pm and i called expedia 1:25 to do the cancelation and they said i can only get a half of my money back because it's not within that 24 hrs time frame. This is a very big rip off and i would not recommend no one to book with them if they're gonna treat customers with emergencies like this. Highway robber them. Both Pipers cove and expedus is no good. Expedia won't be getting no more business from me and neither does Pipers Cove.

Deberia estar cerrado el hotel mientras está en construcción. No es excelente, es terrible y carisimo. Quise cancelar al llegar y ver las instalaciones precarias y en pésimo estado, y no me lo permitieron. Una pésima experiencia. Orbitz no deberia calificarlo como excelente. Deberisn devolverme mi plata un dia perdido en Ocho Rios!

Decent budget hotel with nice team

If you stay here, try to stay in one of the one bedroom apartments. They're much bigger than the studios and are not much more. We originally booked a studio but upgraded when we were there. This hotel is a decent budget hotel. The staff is really nice (manager even drove us around a couple of times- we paid him for this). The rooms are ok (you get what you pay for) and the beach is ok here, but this is a good option if you're on a budget and/or won't spend a lot time at a hotel. We stayed here because we had a nearby wedding and weren't going to spend a lot of time at the hotel.

We loved the place. Quiet and discreet with wonderful staff. The apartment suited us although probably could do with an upgrade but the staff, garden and service were wonderful. We were sorry to leave.

Stayed a few nights at the larger resorts, the cove was a happy break from the busy resort atmosphere. The gardens are beautiful & obviously loved, full of buterflies & birds. The sea front location is calm, pleasent & private. There is a daily maid service and on site cook, if you give advanced notice they will be able to help with special requests. The food is good standard fair & reasonably priced. The room was clean & spacious shabby chic, with a homely authentic jamaican charm. The staff are proffessional & friendly with a family feel. This is a great little get away for couples who may be tired of larger resorts & need a little me time
