"This is a wonderful hotel. It is close enough to the sights in downtown Madison to be convenient, but just enough outside downtown to be quiet. "Very nice stuff, helpful and caring. Room was good and shower was just wonderful. This place had its own history and beauty. It was kind of loud at night when trains were passing by so probably taking the room that looked on the other side would help, as long as it was not above the restaurant. Wi-Fi was good enough. It was hot breakfast with potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, coffee included that was very nice. Place had own free parking that was very convenient. "

"Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The hotel itself was very clean, and the rooms were nicely updated, comfortable, and well maintained. Both front desk employees we interacted with at check-in and check-out were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, which made for a great first and last impression.
