Search Hotels Near Minnesota Historical Society Museum, Elk River

"Called a week before to get rooms for my grandsons birthday. Asked about passes for the pool. I was told one thing but got there and you could only have max 3. Was told by front desk that no one could visit the hotel and if they did would be escorted of the premise. Got a call from general manager a few days before our stay to let us know there was no parties in the hotel as there was already 2 birthday parties happening. At no time did we say we were having his party at the hotel. We had it at Zero Gravity, we just wanted family to stay together for a fun night of swimming. We were told that no one would be allowed to swim unless they had an arm band out of the 40 plus children in the pool only 1/2 of them had wristbands. Front desk staff were rude. Hotel itself was wonderful and only problem was the check in process. Our family booked 5 rooms. "

"This was our second time staying at this hotel and I can honestly say that this is one of the only hotels that my wife and myself will choose to stay at. The staff is great, the restaurant is amazing and also has great staff as well! There was a bit of miscommunication when it came to the parking and the added on extra that Expedia offered for (Breakfast for two), but the front desk agent Zac went above and beyond to try and make it right. He helped make our experience even better and treated us like family. This is a main reason we will be staying here more in the foreseeable future. "Hotel was average. What brought down the rating was there is no hotel/free parking - it’s all city street or ramp parking. It’s $30/night. There’s also not continental breakfast, just breakfast in the restaurant which was overpriced. "
