"Excellent hotel, well managed and even better located if you’re coming from the JR station. Only negative: level of foreign languages is low, and even worse than zero in the case of one night employee who wasted more than a half hour of my and my friend’s (my friend only had 1 hour to catch a train so the employee wasted half of that for us) only because she can’t speak English or didn’t want to when she mistakenly checked me out of my room when I specifically told her my friend is checking out and I am not. "

"Very lovely room with plenty of space and a great view of Kumamoto. Lots of amenities provided in the room, which was well-furnished. Breakfast was delicious, with a large selection of both Japanese-style and Western-style foods, as well as Kumamoto specialties. Staff were polite and helpful and able to communicate effectively despite a language barrier. Property was beautiful, with a lot of fresh flowers, foliage, and rooftop terrace. Additional services include laundry, gym, resting/wellness area with microwave and coffee machine, onsen, and self-service luggage storage. The hotel is in a very convenient location, attached to Kumamoto station. We would stay here again and recommend it to all."

"Great hotel within 5-10minutes walk from the main JR station. Comfortable rooms and great to have onsen on the top floor. Free noodles and ice cream a bonus. Staff were very friendly."

"Clean and big enough room. Close to attractions, transport and restaurants. Staff were friendly. We got the only ground floor room which was not ideal. Noise from other guests in the lobby were noticeable. Parking was very limited and we couldn't get free parking in the end but needed to park somewhere nearby, the parking fee was not expensive however."

"Conveniently located, clean, on site laundry facilities, and an extensive, good quality breakfast. Only thing to consider is that there was no wardrobe. If you were traveling alone, like me, it is no big deal. If you will be sharing a room I don’t think it is a deal breaker, but something to consider."
