"This is a unique hotel to stay in with a cool vibe and artsy decor. We enjoyed our deluxe room with a view. The staff were friendly and helpful—valet parking was a nice touch. The restaurant was good overall. Only areas of improvement would be thicker walls (we could hear our loud neighbors early in the morning through the walls) and the room had a bit of a musty smell, but nothing unmanageable. Would definitely stay here again!"
Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
8/10 Good
"Check in staff was great and was able to get us in early. Shuttle service to Brewer game was good...a little wait and other lodgers who were unkind returning to the hotel. Wish the shuttle driver would have, "put his foot down." Rooms were very clean and spacious."
"Hotel is gorgeous. Room beautiful. Our room was a signature king had virtually no storage as we had a week stay, pretty much lived out of suitcases. No drawers available, shelves next to bed and bathroom very shallow ( I would guess 5-6 inches). We are older and can’t really get on the floor to use the safe so that was useless to us. Don’t get me wrong we would stay again just with that knowledge.
Casino- oh my it was huge! If I had one thing to tell a new rewards member I’d use the kiosks to see what rewards are available to you as there were many rewards available to us but no one tells you when you sign up to even check the kiosks, it was my own curiosity that had me check it out and found all sorts of reward play for us, it was great!
Restaurants were wonderful and very well priced. Went to marketplace, sports book and the dream catcher steakhouse and would highly recommend not only for prices but amount of food for price and the yumminess of it.
Overall if I have a chance to back to mke I would definitely stay there again.
Oh one complaint is security tends to walk in packs of 3 which in itself is fine but don’t expect them to move aside for a guest walking in the walkways at least twice a day (some days more) I had to move for them while they had conversations with coworkers while walking. I thought that was very unprofessional never once even a smile or acknowledgment I was apparently in their way not them in mine."
"The hotel was excellent! The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the location was perfect for our weekend trip.
We took the ferry from Muskegon MI to Milwaukee and only brought our bicycles. The hotel was about a 20 minute ride from the ferry. Within walking distance of 3rd Ward area. Shopping in walking distance. Very close to 3rd St Market Hall and other restaurants. There are restaurants in the hotel. Starbucks in the same building and Dunkin' Donuts around the corner. The hotel is located in The Hilton and they have an area where you can keep bikes free of charge.
I overall recommend."
