Overall an excellent stay for value for money.
Reception was very friendly and easy to check-in.
Restaurant staff were unfortunately poor & they only have 1 till for the whole restaurant to order food & drink. No table service so it was long queues if you wanted anything.
Food was probably 1 grade under a Wetherspoons for comparison.
However, kids loved it & the lodge was great fun. I’d defo return.
Disco for the kids was great & you can have a beer while they dance etc…

Exceptional value, novel family accommodation. Fun theming. My
Children had a fabulous time. I wouldn’t recommend if travelling without kids- this is for families. A bit noisy in the evening. Food offerings on site are pretty naff but reasonably priced.
Comfortable terrace-cabin, sound proofed, nice beds, with good working heating, small fridge (not cooling well to be honest, the only one minus of everything in cabin), kettle.
Very pleasant stay.
After the hoben house hotel canceled on us 3hrs due to rival and hotel. Com staff sorted money not been taken out we tried here fantastic little cabin at £53 for the night would definitely stay at Gulivers Land again the reception staff were fantastic
A novelty place to stay but was convenient for a function I was attending. It served it purpose well. I could imagine this being a great place for a family to stay with a couple small kids - it would an day for them.
Ideal off-peak stay! Economical in delightful surroundings. Work nights, can attest quiet in day and peaceful. Comfortable bed, honestly, with all amenities from soap to WiFi provided and working. Had a fantastic steak at the restaurant.
Great fun for the family. Two boys age 5 and 7 really enjoyed the accommodation and parks. Perfect for their age and fun for the adults too. Sadly the accommodation smelt of cigarettes and also a lack of vegan food let the experience down. No options at all which I found really odd and not inclusive. Other family’s and even members of staff agreed that lack of dairy free options was a problem that could be easily sorted.
Great place to stay, albeit a theme park, but was closed when i arrived to stay in the cabin after work, enough space clean cozy, microwave and kettle in the kitchen and cutlery, although no plates or bowls, minor issue really. The bed was comfy and shower was good also. Id stay for work again. Very quiet aswel
Room was filthy we stayed in one of the safari lodges which had stains on the sheets and the pull out bed was horrific how on earth any one would sleep on that I do not know. The shower is dangerously hot luckily I tried it before getting the kids in because it would have scolded them. The checkin girl was very polite as we’re all the other staff we spoke to.
After reading the reviews I was a bit worried about staying here, but I needn't had worried. The staff were friendly and helpful, the accommodation was actually really nice. Better than I was expecting. It's not the Ritz so don't except 5 star cleanliness, but it was better than I thought, it was clean, cozy and warm. We stayed in a 2 bed comfort cabin with 6 of us and it was fine for what we needed. Love the theming as it made it more fun.
Quick stop over - but best not to arrive in the dark - terrible signage - really hard to find, no indication of where check in is and then a very dark park to walk around with trouble finding the right unit. Once in, comfy and cosy. And we were treated to an upgrade so difficulty finding the place forgiven.
Stayed 1 night here, the cabin was immaculate. The bathroom had a little damp odour but I think that’s expected. All staff were friendly. Easy parking. And location was good for us for visiting family. Only issue we had was the phone signal, there is zero signal. There is wifi stars in the booking/website however this does not work. You have to leave the room and walk down to reception for a phone signal. If this isn’t essential for you you will have no issues with your stay.

Lovely
Lovely place. I suspect it’s a fab place in the summer although probably really busy.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom comfort lodge and was perfect for our needs as we were just using it as a base to visit friend.
The lodge was looking a bit tired but everything worked. Only real downside for us was the bathroom didn’t have a door only a canvas tent type sheet, in keeping with the safari theme. Which looked fab but was not really practical for a family.
We’d definitely stay here again but in a different type of accommodation.
The land of lights walk was also amazing and I suspect spectacular in season
I stayed here for 1 night with my partner and two children (ages 4 and 7). It was the kids choice to stay here and for them it was an incredible experience, they loved the bunkbeds in the room and the play areas in the complex.
However the rooms are very small (for 4 people) and, whilst the concept is great, the rooms are not particularly clean. The bathroom was mouldy and smell bad, which impacted the entire room. You couldn't realistically have the windows open (it was warm) because of the bugs coming in.
I think this idea has the potential to be great if it had a really good tidy up and clean, and the rooms were a little more generous.
Whilst initially a bit surprised as I hadn’t realised the location is a theme park, it has a certain charm. After being used to tedious normal hotels it’s a refreshing change having usable outdoor space, a fridge and microwave facilities after working. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
A few minor issues with the room in terms of little leaks in the bathroom but nothing that would ruin your stay. Room was clean on arrival, shower gel is supplied but no other toiletries.
Parking is free and ample, no height restrictions either. Wi-Fi coverage is good, however phone signal is non exsistent.
Bar has reasonable prices for draught beer.
At the price point and it’s unique surroundings its an amazing little spot, as long as you can deal with staying in a dinosaur/pirate/ Wild West themed room.
Staff were friendly and efficient at check in and we were positively surprised to have evening activities but only took part in the marshmallow toasting over a fire pit due to time constraints with dinner. Staff organising the toasting were friendly.
The accommodation was poor (we stayed in the smaller cabin up to 4pax so 1 room with bunk bed over the double bed + ensuite shower/toilet). Old, stained, very soft mattress. No mattress protector in use and found a couple of spiders in the bedding on arrival. Carpet floor was in a bad condition, dirty and stained. Bedside table and lamp were dusty and plug socket not working properly. There was a mini fridge in the room but it was too noisy. The shower room with toilet had a bad sewage smell and was quite dated and sealants were black and dirty. We therefore didn't use the shower. The sink was the tiniest one ever and was uniquely situated on top of the toilet tank which made brushing your teeth awkward as you had to either lean over (if tall enough) or step on the toilet lid to lean over and spit out toothpaste in the sink. The kettle wouldn't fit under the tap due to the small size. The accommodation was a shame as the concept of the cabin was good and my son enjoyed the bunk bed ladder but the whole room needs to be completely gutted and renovated. There were other accommodation types but didn't see inside.
