"Great stay - warm welcome and a cracking breakfast. Room was comfortable with everything you need for an over night stay. Location is also perfect especially if youre travelling by train"

"The hotel has plenty of free parking which is a bonus. However, the rooms are in need of complete refurbishment. Furniture is dated and the bathrooms need complete modernisation. While disabled travellers are welcome. None of the rooms could be considered accessible due to all bathrooms having showers over the bath and it not being possible for some wheelchair users to use. A lot of the windows have blown and the heating needs updating. I have stayed here a number of times over the last few years, but nothing changes. However, on a positive, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good value for money. "
