"It’s a holiday inn so you know what you’re getting. The room wasn’t so bad, nice bathrooms and not many options in that area for foreigners. My issue is they were doing construction and it wasn’t mentioned when I booked. One of the days they shut off the power while I was in the building. The first day they were repaying and messed up my brand new shoes. My wife and I had cement on our stuff. Was insanely dusty and dirty because of construction. "The staff were all really helpful and worked hard to ensure everything was perfect for us. The hotel and it’s facilities were excellent. Breakfast had such a large choice it was more like breakfast and lunch together. The hotel is joined to a subway entrance which was really convenient. Also, the hotel was close to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and various shopping malls. Beijing is excellent. The city is really clean and safe. Be prepared to walk a lot and don’t forget your passport!"
